"The room was clean, bed comfortable, and noise from outside and adjoining rooms minimal. The air conditioner was quiet, the refrigerator even kept things frozen in the freezing compartment. The microwave worked, though controls were confusing. The TV worked well, but channel selection poorly documented. "The Newport Belle was a refurbished paddle boat. It is so well done that the pictures don’t do it justice. Our room was darling and spotless. The owner made our breakfast and the food was very good and he was friendly and attentive. Brandon, the caretaker, went above and beyond. We loved our stay!"

"Large spacious room with a separate jacuzzi area was a bonus. Large parking in front of hotel well light and in view of front desk and rooms felt secure. Plus an oustanding restaurant right across the street with the best 1/8 inch fries that curl a bit after frying, to resemble thick potato chips with perfect texture."

"We were in a bind when traveling with two of couples and this motel had rooms available. Since we were all seniors the clerk was able to get us ground floor rooms. He was very helpful and accommodating. "

"As a place to stay on the coast for one night, I was pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick and host to the point (yet cordial). It was the room I was impressed by. Laminate flooring (great idea for cleaning!) and modern design with a fitting mural above the bed. Coffee machine was a nice (though standard) touch - simple and worked well. Turning on heat was easy - using the thermometer vs directly on the unit. Being comfortable wasn't challenging. Though I don't feel like I sleep well on...

"Pretty much perfect all around. The room we stayed in was basic and perfectly clean. The hotel had recently been remodeled. This hotel is on the main drag so there was a little traffic noise (I always travel with a white noise generator for just such instances!) but not too bad. The location is in the middle between Nye Beach (ocean) and the bay; we walked to those location. We made the quick drive over the bridge to the aquarium, marine center and Rogue Brewery for dinner.
