"This was actually a really great hotel in a busy city on Memorial Day weekend. The room was updated, clean and an excellent price. You can walk to many of the shopping districts on Newport from the hotel, and definitely reach the beach. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a fairly priced option."

"The only issue I have is there is no coffee pot in the room. We get up pretty early and they didn’t have coffee in the lobby that early. Now that I know I’ll go prepared next time. Otherwise was nice and comfortable especially for the price."

"There wasn’t anything that I liked, unfortunately. The bed was rock hard and we didn’t sleep at all, because there was a dog in a neighboring room that had a dog the wined and barked all night long. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place and I should have asked for compensation."

"This is a quaint little place, with a lot of character and very clean. Excellent beach access. Some road noise but other than that very quiet. However, I did not find the value in the facilities--ocean view from room not what I expected, and room furnishings old and mismatched. I only stayed one of my two nights paid. I would rate this a 3 out of 5."
