The Space:
This row home is perfectly located just a few blocks from East Carson Street, which is a popular street in South Side with tons of bars, restaurants, high-end shopping and coffee shops. In this central location in Pittsburgh, you can walk anywhere during your stay. The smart lock at the front door entrance allows for a seamless check-in process and eliminates the need for keys during your stay. We also provide 24/7 guest support through the booking platform, so we are always here for you during your stay.
The Living Room:
Upon entering SteelCityBNB, you'll be greeted by the spacious living room, featuring an incredible flat screen 70" Smart TV and a comfortable couch that cleverly transforms into a Queen pull-out sofa bed, providing ample space for your travel party. The Dining Room:
Moving past a set of stairs, you'll step into the charming, open concept dining room on the main floor, adorned with a custom 14-ft. mural that extends across the entire wall to add an artistic flair to the space. A massive walnut table with seating for six takes center stage, making it the perfect place to gather for meals, conversation, and memorable moments. Within the same room, you'll find a convenient coffee and wine bar, thoughtfully designed to enhance your stay as well as a laundry closet housing the washer and dryer, making laundry a breeze during your stay. And when it's time to unwind, mix your favorite cocktail and relax in a space that feels uniquely yours.
The Bathroom:
Continuing through the house, you'll discover a well-appointed full bathroom, complete with a massive mirror featuring an integrated LED light, providing an excellent space for your daily routines. Get some fresh air and crack the window while you shower! Hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, towels, etc. are all included free for you to use and are eco-friendly products.
The Kitchen:
At the back of the first floor, you'll find the fully equipped kitchen, with modern, stainless steel appliances and all the cookware and dishes you might require for culinary adventures during your stay. There is a 4-burner stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. You'll have all the modern amenities you need for cooking and eating during your stay too, including pots/pans, cooking utensils, plates, coffee mugs, cutlery, etc. The kitchen is blessed with abundant natural light from multiple windows enhancing your culinary experience.
Venturing upstairs, you'll find two beautifully custom-designed bedrooms - both equipped with King-sized beds!
Bedroom 1 - The Phipps Room:
To the left at the top of the stairs is the Phipps Room, a tranquil retreat inspired by the lush beauty of Phipps Botanical Gardens—an iconic Pittsburgh attraction known for its exquisite plant collections and stunning displays. This bedroom features a luxury King-size plush memory foam mattress with 11" of foam made by Doze. Additionally, the bedroom is equipped with a flat screen 55" Smart TV mounted on the wall with a swivel for optimal viewing pleasure. There is also a dedicated workstation with a desk positioned between two windows and a ceiling fan to provide a light breeze. There are two chairs in the room and plenty of closet space to store your clothing (as well as a full-length mirror)!
Bedroom 2 - The Warhol Room:
To the right at the top of the stairs is the Warhol Room, paying homage to the legendary artist Andy Warhol, a Pittsburgh native whose impact on the art world is celebrated worldwide. The second bedroom also has a luxury King-size plush memory foam mattress with 11" of foam made by Doze. This bedroom is also equipped with a flat screen 55" Smart TV mounted on the wall with a swivel for optimal viewing pleasure. There is also a dedicated workstation with a solid wood desk tucked away into the corner and we provide an oscillating tower fan to keep you cool. There are two chairs in the room and plenty of closet space to store your clothing (as well as a full-length mirror)!
