Every single staff member there was very friendly and helpful. Cabins are spacious and include a kitchenette in them. Day activities were easy to schedule. "Im Prinzip ist die Lodge super, abseits von allem, mitten in der Natur und die Affen ziehen direkt am Balkon vorbei, um im nächsten Baum zu essen. Die Lodge hat Frühstück inklusiv. So, das bedeutet, für den Rest der Verpflegung ist man selbst verantwortlich oder nutzt das Restaurant der Lodge. Leider haben die Zimmer aber noch nicht mal einen Kühlschrank, daher ist Selbstversorgung eher schlecht. Und die Preise der Lodge für Essen und Trinken sind unverschämt. "The house and grounds are beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous looking over the lake. Pool was fantastic. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great. Check in easy and there was even a welcome basket with fruit. Would stay again. The only thing people need to know is that it is 45 min to La Fortuna even though it looks closer on the map. This didn’t bother us but if you are expecting to just pop in and out of town you need to plan accordingly from a time perspective."

Yo reservé con mucha anticipación y cuando llegamos nos encontramos con un camino rural muy dañado, muy complicado para ingresar y que por las noches es totalmente oscuro, además de que hay que cruzar un arroyo. Tienen que ir en un carro 4x4 si no quieren dejar media suspensión ahí. Además de que cuando llegamos estaban apenas haciendo limpieza. Tuvimos que salir a comer para regresar y que estuviera listo. "The Ranch Villa Arenal is a gorgeous house and property. We felt at home and fell in love with Yadi the house keeper/cook and Joaquin the grounds keeper. Yadi cooked a delicious breakfast every day and Joaquin entertained us with tours of the working ranch. The Fortuna area offers many activities for all age groups. "Amazing. The cabana is beautiful! It’s brand new and very comfortable. It has three walk out decks, and a one whole side of the cabana is huge windows that open to make the space open air.
