Bed comfortable enough. Free hot drinks and cookies. Adequate for single night stay, but overpriced for what you get. More like Hotel 8 in style. Outdated facility on its last legs. Staff friendly enough, but no one was around at checkout."

"Elmhurst is on a beautiful property, ideal for weddings and events. We were just here for a girls weekend - the space, restaurant and on-site spa are all fantastic. An elegant and indulgent weekend!"

"Cute little old fashioned room. Super clean. Tiny little bathroom but no issues with it. Patio out front was nice spot to have our glass of wine before dinner. Beds were perfect. Fireplace can probably have the pilot light turned off now to reduce the heat load on the room. Continental Breakfast looked delicious. Bagels and yogurt. Beverages and water in room was appreciated. Little boutique hotels are a favourite. Check in Staff was super helpful getting us settled."

"The check in was easy, seamless, front desk staff was very friendly. Room was clean, basic, sheets were clean, room was cool and had to ask for extra blanket. No window as window AC installed. The only downfall was the lack of towels provided. Solid 2.5 star hotel. Would stay again for location and price."

"All went well, from check-in to check-out. Staff made it a point to greet me with every in and out I made. Room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. A large tv, complete with local cable options made it a dream stay. My 1 night stay in London didn’t provide me with any opportunity to use the pool, nor the on-site restaurant. "I spent 3 nights here at the Ranch house inn and the staff/owners were responsive to requests. The pictures are accurate and I believe it reflects a relatively recent remodelling. Internet was fast and there was a common area with Keurig type coffee/amenities. There is ample parking in the back. Since I used this as a staging ground for my weekend at the Grand Bend Motorplex, I appreciate how convenient exeter is. There was a dollarama down the street and restaurant options close by. If...

"Staff was helpful and very pleasant. Be sure to book parking well in advance. As so often in beautiful small towns, parking is at a premium - not a lot of overnight spaces anywhere."

"Cleaning isn’t hard, place is out dated but that would be fine, no continental breakfast and I feel that they are now appealing to long term tenants. No staff waiting to serve, yoh have to call them in their apartment, where the place smells like whatever they are cooking. Again elbow grease and cleaning are not hard to do. Didn’t expect much for the price just a clean place."
