"what sank the experience was the kitchenette - dark with peeling laminate. after seeing that I didn't even want tto peel back the bedding. Just slept on top of the topping in my clothes. didn't see anything horrible or anything - just couldnt get over that kitchenette. bathroom wasn't great either."

"Blinds broke when I closed curtains. Curtains do not provide privacy from parking lot. Bedside lamp switch did not work. Toilet dripped constantly. Heater/AC sounds like 747 revving up. Bed comfortable enough. Free hot drinks and cookies. Adequate for single night stay, but overpriced for what you get. More like Hotel 8 in style. Outdated facility on its last legs. Staff friendly enough, but no one was around at checkout."

"The staff stood out to me; considering the many hats they wear and the hours worked; they were excellent! I would argue better than most of the major hotels i have stayed at over the years. The room was spacious and clean. The construction on the road in front of hotel is a bit of an eye sore but it certainly didn’t have any impact on the service. The breakfast was just fine. The parking was convenient at back of hotel."

"About the hotel itself, I have nothing but good things to say. Despite there being no front/receptionist desk (you have to contact their sister Hotel The Windsor Hotel) and no actual keys (both the hotel door and the room doors use numerical button plates with a code to or each provided when you check in), the rooms are quite comfortable and large enough to move around in; my own room could have accommodated two (a four-poster bed and a sofa bed). "Cleaning isn’t hard, place is out dated but that would be fine, no continental breakfast and I feel that they are now appealing to long term tenants. No staff waiting to serve, yoh have to call them in their apartment, where the place smells like whatever they are cooking. Again elbow grease and cleaning are not hard to do. Didn’t expect much for the price just a clean place."
