Breakfast was ok, the staff were responsive once I had pointed out that some of the food needed replenishing, eg fried eggs, ham and cheese. "The food in the restaurant was very good-nicely cooked. The room upgrade was very good too, with views over Bute Park. What was not so good was having to shower in the bath-no walk-in shower..very tricky for an 80 year old like myself..we had tried for a disabled room, but none were available for both the nights we were there. I think one should be warned about this-outdated and unexpected."
