"Everything was good including being able to get the bus right outside the hotel for the very short ride to the airport. I only stayed on Sunday evening and only the continental breakfast was available on Monday morning. Not important for me as I ate at the airport before my flight. I was in Room 102 and had no complaints except the mattress was not the best. I would definitely recommend the hotel for short term stays."

"Room itself was clean, but the molding on the shower showed a large amount of black mold. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was delicious (made to order by their chef, who was very accommodating)."

"The rooms are well furnished but no aircon or appropriate cooling - so if you come in winter I’m sure it will be lovely. No signage as to where to go to check in, you have to wait for a member of the bar staff who are then not very helpful. Staff overall didn’t feel very welcoming. Food in the evening was over cooked and very dry but on the plus side the breakfast was delicious. We stayed one night and wouldn’t stay again."

Only couple of negatives the bathroom was beautiful, but needs bigger shower head spolit it abit, need towel rail next to the sink, and mayb shelf in the shower to put toiletries, and towel rail at the end of the bath."

Its proximity to the train station was appealing to me, but I liked the location for many other reasons as well — close to shopping, restaurants and sights while still being quiet. "This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and just a quick walk to so many bars, cafes, shops and the Castle. Our room was so lovely. It had a very funky vibe and was beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! The community lounge and deck was also a great addition giving you access to a great hang out area. It is also well stocked with snacks and drinks. The restaurant downstairs was also nice. We parked our car in the public carpark opposite the hotel which was easy...

"The hotel itself is excellent - great location and architecture. The cool atmosphere and aircon were welcoming on the hottest June day ever recorded in Cardiff! The facilities were great - including bedroom, bar and pool / spa. A couple of disappointments though. Guaranteed check-in from 3p.m. We arrived at 2.15 so went to the bar to wait. By 3.30 still no room, so after a lot of to-ing and fro-ing they eventually found us an upgrade. The breakfast - distinctly average for the price and...
