"This room was actually an apartment, with a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a dining/living room area (with a TV and a record player with several vinyl records) and a bedroom. There were more closets than my house! It was immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The check-in process was so easy. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone who is staying in NYC. For reference, this place was about 1400 ft² and there was a hotel a block and a half away that has rooms that are 196 ft²...

"The room and overall stay was good. The bartender GiGi was awesome as well. We received the room directly in front of the elevator. It got loud at times. However, the only inconvenience is there is no onsite parking if you’re renting or driving. The parking they provided closed early so we were unable to park. Also, there is no on street parking nearby as told by the receptionist at the front desk."

"Loved our stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great and room was too. The only issue was that the elevator doors would close extremely fast and would not bounce back once they made contact with a person. On 2 occasions someone else in the elevator had to push the doors open. I returned home with a very large bruise on my shoulder. Hopefully, the elevator has been adjusted by now as it could be very dangerous."

"The hotel was in an excellent location with subways near by taking you all around Manhattan. Brooklyn bridge was a 10 minute walk and the 9/11 memorial , Wall Street was a 5 minute walk.This was my second visit to New York and found this hotel and location far better than staying in Times Square."

"Great location and very convenient, clean, modern room with lots of storage and enough space for 4 to sleep comfortably. We appreciated the kitchen that made our breakfast easy every morning. Nice and free laundry facilities (bring your own detergent). Why not 5 stars? - The room only had a built-in desk and one chair. It would be nice to put some round table and 3 more chairs there, especially that there was enough space for it. Having a full kitchen but no place to eat was a bit strange. -...

"I booked one night at CitizenM Bowery and it was perfect. The hotel is well located and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My room was clean with a great view, and check-in/out was quick and super easy."

"This is a hip, nice, clean hotel that also works for people who might not be that hip and cool. I really just want a comfortable quiet place to stay when I come to NY but love the vibe and you can have both at the ACE Brooklyn. If you want to have a drink amongst both the Brooklyn locals and visitors from all over you can pop downstairs to the bar--which is always busy. There's a wonderful workspace where you can do some work with a coffee shop steps away(also very busy). The only problem is...

"The first 2 days the housekeeper came at 9 am which is 6 am our time and we were sleeping. I asked her to come back in an hour and she never did. The next 2 days she came the room was barely cleaned. I liked the decor but the speckled mirror wasn’t ideal as we wanted a useful Mirror and the glass door to the bathroom let in light when someone was sleeping and someone else wanted to use the bathroom. The guys at the desk were very friendly and helped us when we were leaving."
