Please note that Tidewater Resort requires at least one guest on the reservation must be 25+ of age.

To protect myself and my property, there will be a $300 refundable deposit requested. As long as you don't damage my condo, you should expect to get the $300 back once the condo is cleaned after you have checked out.

I also require my guests to provide with a copy of their driver's license. This is for my records in case of any audit.

Best hotel stay

Tidewater is Truthfully one of the best I have stayed at. Rm 1804 has carpet in the bedroom and it is super clean, floors were not sandy, the view was amazing, water pressure was great and hot. I’m giving a 5 star review because it deserves it but I also just want to add this so everyone knows or so maybe the property manager will invest in better. The beds were stiff in the bedroom literally woke up with a sore back every day and the couch bed was so springy it had no comfort. I would def love to see an investement in comfortable soft beds especially if staying for atleast a week. We would greatly love this place without a shadow of a doubt. Overall A+++++

Excellent! Plan on staying again!

Loved this rental! Was perfect for our family. The view was incredible, the rental was clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect, short walk to pier park, literally go outside, and your on the beach. We very much enjoyed this rental, and plan on renting here again soon!!

Great stay! Beautiful property, very upscale, and friendly staff. The food at the restaurant wasn’t great (we had cheeseburgers), but the staff was amazing. Elevators quite slow but we were on vacation, so we didn’t care.

Great unit with an awesome view

To our surprise the kitchen/living area in the unit were much taller and wider than they appeared in the pictures! We stayed for a month and found that the unit was the perfect size. We were able to communicate with the property manager easily and check in/out went seamlessly (even though we checked in at 1am). Tidewater was also pretty nice with easy beach access and a handful of pool areas (the outside pools weren’t heated but there was an inside one that was in addition to a hottub). Elevators were sometimes slow to hail even though we booked in the offseason. Would recommend!

This was our first trip without kids. It was the perfect getaway. The first day of our trip was labor day, so the elevators were a bit of a nightmare. After that, most people left and it was a perfect week.

My son and I had a fantastic time in a very clean and modern condo! The only issue we had was with the elevators, didn’t seem to have an issue when there was staff running the elevators, but when they didn’t wait times were very, very long!

Tidewater 1804 is FANTASTIC….

My wife and I absolutely loved Tidewater unit 1804…. It is spacious, nicely decorated, clean, and perfect for a week at the beach. The only complaint we have is one I am sure is heard regularly from Tidewater guests — the elevator situation is absolutely horrendous…. No matter which of the 7 elevators tried, there are ridiculous wait times at most any point in the day. Even if an elevator door does open on your floor, it is often already packed with people, luggage carts, and beach equipment. And thankfully we opted for the early check in and we avoided the unsightly waits for people checking in late with luggage carts in the afternoon - along with the pool / beach traffic going to their rooms. I personally waited 35 minutes on one trip down at 5:00pm one day and gave up after 25 minutes and walked down 18 flights on another afternoon. There was never a time in our week there that we didn’t wait at least 15-20 minutes to board an elevator to go in either direction. And then once boarded, we endured the elevator stopping at practically every floor with people there unable to board due to it being already overloaded. Then there is the issue of one elevator (the one closest to our condo being “tagged out of service” at times most every day of our stay. We never viewed any type of service or maintenance activity on this elevator but one time it was tagged and the next it wasn’t - making use of it uncomfortable if it was in use. The unloading upon arrival and challenge of finding a cart and loading for departure created more stress than desired on vacation! We heard horror stories of those arriving in the late afternoon having endured being lined up with luggage carts waiting for an elevator to their room in excess of an hour. We actually packed our vehicle the last evening of our stay so we would not require a luggage cart the morning of our departure. Again, I’m sure this is nothing new with the 30 stories and volume of guest traffic but I couldn’t go without at least mentioning it. Now…. Back to 1804 - as I said, we loved it. This condo is perfect for a couple looking for a beach getaway. We would certainly consider a return to this unit but to be honest, the elevator situation at Tidewater would have to improve for a return trip….

Will not book again

The condo space is great, but we found sand everywhere, on the beds, blankets chairs, none of it was cleaned or washed. Elevators are a disaster. Sometimes we had to wait for 15-20 minutes. Condo is definitely due for an update of furniture and kitchen supplies.

Our stay was great we were right on the beach the view was amazing kind of high but amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. The only drawback was the elevators, because there are so many people on the property the elevator took awhile every time. Other than that it was great.

We had a great trip and location/description of property was great. The wait time for the elevator was long, but that’s common with any of the high rise condos I’ve stayed at. If I could request/suggest anything, it would be to put black out curtains (or any curtains) in the main bedroom. When the sun comes up you are almost immediately woken up if brightness wakes you up. But overall it was great!

Tidewater 1804

The condo overall was fine. The king bed was very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs in the bed. They need dark curtains to go in main bedroom because the sun/ light from hallways are always in there so it is very very bright. Other than those issues I would stay here again. The elevator situation at the resort was terrible. There were times we were walking down from the 18th floor because we had waited for over 10 minutes for an elevator. They definitely need to get that fixed ASAP.
