This property had some functional concerns - the dishwasher did not work, the oven did not work properly (gave up making bacon after 45 min as it was still fairly raw) and the microwave was hit or miss. Sent host a message through app regarding dishwasher, but did not get a response. Host did send several other pre-recorded messages throughout our stay. Noted several ants in the kitchen and living area. Bedrooms were all upstairs, but entertaining areas...

"The request was not to strip the sheets on the beds when we left, but some of the guests did anyways because it’s the right thing to do. The mattresses looked soiled. Another mattress must have had bed bugs because the guest was covered with bites on her backside the next day. There was a dirty spoon in the drawer. There was also an animal living in the roof or wall that was crawling around at night. If you want to feel like you’re camping outside, this might be the place for you."

"Perfect is a tough standard to reach, but this was as close as I’ve seen. The property owner initiated almost all the communication and was on top of everything. The attention to detail on the house was magnificent. One of the people in my party is in the business of preparing houses to be shown and he couldn’t stop raving about how well the house was put together. I can’t see any of my group that will ever stay anywhere else while being in the Kansas City area"
