Perfect retreat for family, friends or colleagues - spacious single family in OP

The entire single family house in the heart of Overland Park! Great choice for big groups, families, friends or colleagues. It has 4 bedrooms, king bed in master, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 living areas and a nice backyard! If needed you can rent a second house on the same street just steps away from this one: https://www.vrbo.com/1187834

The upstairs has 4 bedrooms. Master bedroom has a king size bed and attached bathroom (small shower). Second bedroom has two twin size beds, and the other two bedrooms have queen size beds. All the mattresses are brand new, different firmness, freshly laundered bed sheets and towels are provided. Second full bathroom is located in the hall upstairs with easy access to all bedrooms.
Main level features the kitchen with all the necessities, small breakfast table with sitting for four, then a formal dining area with table for 6, and living room with two couches that can be transformed into beds.
Downstairs has another living area with a nice bar/ stools and another sofa-bed. It also has doors to the outdoor patio. Although we do have a fireplace downstairs - we don't allow guests to use it out of safety concerns.

Parking is available in the attached two car garage, on the driveway and on the street if available.
Additional parking is available right across the street (public park).

Great stay for Sporting KC Game

We had 8 guys stay here when we came into town to watch a Sporting KC game. House was clean, appliances worked, nice neighborhood. About 22 minutes from the Soccer Stadium or Racetrack, Ubers weren’t hard to find.

2 or 3 star motel quality

The place is fine but not kept up or maintained well. Be prepared to bring or buy soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, etc. Things like that may be missing. Location is great and the place is large, but the beds can be lopsided, and the hall bathroom has poor water pressure, doesn't drain well, and is rusty. Also, the patio was unusable because they never clean the patio furniture. The host can be unresponsive too. First day we arrived, Wednesday, we noticed there were no dishwasher pods. We messaged the host, they blamed the cleaners. On Monday someone dropped/threw a new box on the front porch, but we were leaving the next day. The host did respond well to other messages, like letting us stay a little after checkout since we were catching flights. I was going to leave a 3 star rating but the host never responded to our last message. In that thread, they asked me to leave a 5 star review or tell them any issues so they could do something about it. I told them a number of issues, but they never even acknowledged the message. Again the place was fine, big and in a good location. We had a successful time there. It just has a 2 or 3 star motel vibe. My overall impression is that the hosts are not concerned about the house being comfortable for guests.

Book Club Sleepover

We rented this property to have our Book Club Christmas gathering and sleepover. It was a great space for us, centrally located, clean, and plenty of room for all of us to sleep comfortably. It is on a slightly busy street, but a white noise maker drowned out any loud car sounds at night. Check in, check out was easy and communication with the host was great. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, accept for kitchen towels. We had to use paper towels for drying which felt wasteful. Not a big deal, but bring kitchen towels if prefer to use them. Otherwise, plenty of bath towels, bedding, kitchen ware, etc. They even have wine glasses! Thanks for a nice stay.

Christmas stay in OP🌲

Was a very comfortable, clean home, was very impressed, would book again. Garage was a plus, as it was raining the night we got there. We did notice that the front door does not latch securely! That was our observation, and passing it on. Thank you for providing such a comfortable place to stay. Joyce & the Parsons family

Great location and property

It's an older home that has been modernized. Nothing fancy, but it was great for our group of nine. Very comfortable. Boris was helpful when booking and let us check in a little early. Plenty of towels and extra bedding. No complaints and we'd rent the property again!!

Just what we needed

An older home with 4 large, comfortable bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, the common spaces are also large and well appointed. There are a lot of stairs, and the driveway is steep so I would not recommend this home for those with mobility issues, but for our group of 11 it worked just fine.

Family running weekend

Accommodation for our family 1 child, 6 adults, everyone had there own room. Enough bathrooms, kitchen was great. Location was okay, didn't feel comfortable going outside after dark. Boris was great to work with. I asked for extension and he gave it to us. Boris was always in touch we me.

Location was great with small park and school playground across the street. Plenty of room for 10 of us. Home could use more dishes to use in kitchen, some dish rags and towels. Some outlets need fixed (only one of two would work) Most lamps did not have light bulb. Overall we would stay here again.

Great Time

The house is an older house, kind of creaky, but furnishing were good. The Kitchen was a little small for our group of 12, but we made it work. Plus it didn't have too many cooking dishes. Overalll it was a good experience.. Good location for us. Would stay again

Family get together

Family really enjoyed the house for our family trip to KC. We met halfway for all of us so KC was the pick. The house picture covered the amount of stairs to get into the door which wouldn't have been a problem except for my mom having a disability and found it hard to get up and down the stairs, but it was doable especially in the house with the handrails. We wished we could have had a broom and vaccum to pick up after ourselves more, even while on vacation ☺️. The owner/host was quick to reply with questions regarding the property which was wonderful. We would come back in the future for a stay.
