"Simple but clean and well-placed accommodations. One night stay during a road trip at OBX. Perfectly placed as a staging point for our next day's itinerary of visiting Hatteras and Ocracoke. Minimal kitchen supplies, but all we needed for reheating some leftovers. IT would have been difficult to cook "homemade" meals. Also, FYI the hot tub/pool facilities are at the main hotel about a mile away, not at the cottage itself. Not a problem for my trip, but may confuse others. "

We loved the attention to detail in each bedroom with artwork and books about local sites and history. "If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Charming and very clean. We liked the old obx atmosphere - with a nice update. Great location with ocean views. The pool was refreshing with ample chairs. There’s a crow’s nest with pergola. Screened in porch on cottage 11 was spacious enough to have dinner outside and still have room to hang towels. The property was well kept.
