"We loved our stay at Big Pine. We were in town mostly to ski & snowboard at Mt. Bachelor and this was a great base for that & more. The house is beautiful and the views of Bachelor and Crosswater (where we spotted a herd of elk during breakfast one morning) were spectacular. Only minor quibbles: the weather was so warm bikes would have been greatly appreciated to explore Caldera Springs...also the park at Caldera Springs is a bit lame for littles...we went over to Fort Rock Park most days. Even though the property owner was prompt, he did not actually resolve a problem at the house. There was a large crack in a window in the living room behind the sofa and once we spotted it I messaged him. He acknowledged that he knew about it and that they weren’t able to get someone to fix it in time. We have a baby and 3 toddlers...
