"One of the main reasons that we rented this apartment was for the river view, which is clearly shown in several pictures in the listing for the unit, and is mentioned in many of the customer reviews. When we arrived and found that there is no river view at all (I’m guessing due to the new construction across the street), we were very upset and felt like we’d been misled. "We enjoyed the old fashioned apartment very much because it reminded us of the 1960s. However the pressure in the shower is so minimal that we were unable to wash hair in the stream. So perhaps an update to the shower plumbing is in order plus a grab bar to make a safe exit from the tub. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the kitchen, like our grandmother's kitchen except updated appliances. "

"If you enjoy a well restored classic, vintage place this is it. The location was perfect for walking. Close by are shops, dining, and attractions such as museums. The interior is very well done as that it kept all of the charm without sacrificing comfort. The kitchen is cozy with everything anyone could need to make a meal. A sitting room is a pleasant space to relax if traveling with other people. I told my husband I would buy this place in a heartbeat. A lovely experience."
