"Unfortunately the bathroom shower was really bad. Impossible to turn it on and adjust temp without getting soaked outside the tub . Water sprayed the floor and whole shower experience was average . Bed comfy but pillows lumpy ."

"The hotel has certainly gone downhill and rooms feel like they need a really good clean or refit. Carpets in both the communal areas and in the rooms are stained. Mattress was like a brick and towels like cardboard.
Queues at the bar and sullen bar staff.
Have stayed a few times pre and post flights but won't return again."

"The breakfast times could have been later, as finished at 9am on Monday.
The bar was supposed to close at 11pm but was closed by 10.15pm.
The rooms were basic and shower not powerful. However, were clean and still had everything that was needed.
Lots of choice of food and drink and fresh."

Several staff just walked past us with our bags and no one acknowledged we were trying to check in for several minutes. The room was okay but not as shown on our booking confirmation - it was an attic room with very steep stairs and a not very safe landing area outside the door. "The property is in a peaceful location but close to Warwick.
The main lobby is nicely presented.
The pool is warm but was very busy and too small to swim in.
We had a twin room which had been updated.The double was dated and had a broken trickle vent.There was no fridge in this one or conditioner in the bathroom.
The staff were friendly"

"To be fair we stayed at this hotel during the hottest week of the year but it was boiling! Our rooms were on the top floor so that didnt help either but the water pipes in the room were roasting, the windows didnt open fully because of the safety features and the water didnt get very cold to help cool us down. Even with 2 fans on in the room the heat in there was unbearable. We ended up having to put wet towels on us in an attempt to keep cool. Food was ok but not great and the garden furniture...

"Late check in was handy, I arrived about 11pm as was the bar staying open until 2 am!!
Air con was v.noisy so was left with choice of being boiling (with AC off), not being able to sleep because of noise, or opening the windows and listening to M5.
I choose the second option."
