"A beautiful site with lovely cabins including fabulous bathrooms and a brand new Miele washing machine and tumble dryer! We enjoyed the pool and the bar… a bit random to have the sauna in the office but good experience none the less. The gym was a bit tired and old with limited equipment but great to have a big open shed with a gorgeous view :). A good base to explore Byron Bay & Nightcap National Park."

"The CONVENIENCE of this location to public transport is remarkable. It's an old building - probably the only reason I've downgraded the amenities. They're old fashioned, but just the best bed to sleep in with brilliant linen, and towels readily available. I was in a very quiet room at the back of the premises. Just basically felt like home!"

Being able to rent simple, reliable snow gear directly from Carinya at a very decent rate took a lot of hassle out of our trip. Room was clean and quiet and we loved the bonfire, but the unexpected gem was the restaurant where the friendly, easygoing staff fed us delicious, traditional Indian food at about half the price of what we'd pay in Canberra or Sydney. "Easy and flexible check-in and check-out process. Family tent was perfect space to fit my family with 2 teenager and a baby. The host prepared our tent with AC on before we check-in to ensure we're comfortable and even prepared an extra single layout bed for us which we used it as a relaxing bed couch to watch TV. Bathroom is new with lux towels and extra towels provided. Sharen is an amazing host. "

"We had an excellent time at 6 Apoona Street—our best visit to Merimbula yet! The property was incredibly spacious, with plenty of comfortable areas to chill out and relax, whether indoors or outside. It had a lovely, welcoming feel and was perfect for unwinding on holiday. Our pooch absolutely loved the outdoor area, which was secure and gave them lots of space to enjoy as well. We would highly recommend this property and would happily stay again!"
