"The Emeline Hotel is very unique. We got upgraded to a one bedroom suite which was a wonderful surprise. They have a great coffee place inside and a small shopping area - big bar and sitting area outside. There sister hotel is the Ryder - so they give you drink tokens and you can get a free drink and sit near the pool if you wish. They did not charge us for valet parking -- which was super cool something to do with our status but yet The Ryder Hotel DID CHARGE 55.-- for parking plus resort...

"We stayed four nights at Meeting Street Inn. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. Be aware that it’s an old building and it’s an inn, not a hotel. You will not find a lot of amenities here. But you get a quiet stay, in a charming, historic Charleston Single-style building at a reasonable price. "Good - Rooms was large, beds comfy, no noise and AC was ice cold. Not so good - pillows flat and shower doors leaked on floor. Staff was awesome and breakfast was very good with many choices. Parking was an inconvenience as it was across the road in a different structure. KFC and McD next door but everything else a mile away. We would stay again!"
