"Booked a room that stated it had 2 Queen beds however it only had 2 double beds. I checked with the man in reception who was not very friendly and probably in the wrong job and was told that was the right room. Beds were 138cm wide so definitely just standard double beds. Our room was up some rickety old stairs that I wasn't sure were going to be there in the morning. The whole place is in desperate need of a makeover as everything is just old and rundown. The venue is quite old but they have maintained it to be a worthy place to stay. And, I would stay here again. Across from Doncaster Shoppingtown ... means easy access to restaurants (cafe's and foodhall) and supermarkets. Coffee cups were dirty with coffee rings on the inside, cutlery was dirty, we had to wash everything before we used it. Bathroom top bench was dirty, paint all chipping off, shower over bath sprayed water all over the floor. TV didn't work, emailed management about this and anoher issue and did not get a reply.
