This property was great for our stay in Niagara Falls, NY. We were middle aged and senior mother and daughter. We each had our own rooms, and shared a bathroom. The living room and kitchen with 4-person dining table were all perfect for us. Everything was very clean. The furnishings were good and met our needs, plenty of seating and room for luggage. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to get to. We felt very close to the attractions in the area, but not in a busy, loud area, which we liked. The property does require navigating a few steps to get in, which was no problem to us. The beds slept well for us. Temperatures outside were 40s to hi 60s and we felt very comfortable temperature wise. There is HVAC system. The kitchen had everything we needed, and I really liked the coffee maker. If you are new to the area, be aware that Niagara Falls, NY is a small town that is a bit depressed/economically challenged. There are some restaurants, and we really enjoyed some Indian food at Dosa Place and breakfast at The Spot. We visited Lewiston, Buffalo, and Niagara-on-the-Lake. We were very pleased with the experience and would stay there again if visiting the area. The property is less than 10 minutes drive from the falls on either side (US, CA). We like the outdoors and there are some great trails at Whirlpool State Park. The hosts are fabulous! Very responsive, hospitable, and helpful.

What a sweet old cottage feel. The place was perfect for us. Easy access to get in and out. We used Uber everywhere. It was quick and perfect distance to everything. Place was clean and had everything we needed. Lori made excellent recommendations to local food and attractions. Thank you all for a wonderful stay while we visited Niagara Falls.

Property was as advertised, clean, local attractions easily accessible and host was very responsive. I would recommend this rental to family and friends. If you’re looking for a place to stay I would highly suggest contacting owner of this property.

This was a perfect place to stay for us. Pretty much everything we wanted to do was just minutes away. It was clean & homey. Kitchen was stocked well with utensils & other items needed for cooking. Located in a quiet little neighborhood. The neighbors were friendly & helpful with questions we had about the area.

Great location, great people would stay again.

We had a really nice stay! The location is fantastic—less than 10 minutes from Niagara Falls and close to a main street that a bunch of great local restaurants. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, which made it feel even more relaxing.The house itself is super comfortable. The beds, couches, and all the spaces felt cozy and just right for unwinding. The AC worked great and kept us cool the whole time. The listing was spot-on—what you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. It also had the basics for cooking small meals, and they even provided coffee and oatmeal, which was such a thoughtful touch. The coffee maker was easy to use too, which we appreciated!The host was amazing—super responsive, full of great local tips, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.Only a couple of small things to note: the kitchen had a lingering bacon smell from a previous guest, and the kitchen floor could’ve been a bit cleaner. Also, the house is older so if someone is upstairs, just be aware that you can hear the footsteps from above.Overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely recommend it!

Close to many attractions

The location was perfect for our stay and close to a ton of attractions like Niagara Falls, Aquarium, Clifton Hills (CA side), and more. The house was very clean. It was a little dated but well maintained. Host was very responsive to my questions. Check-out instructions are vague so I had to ask for further information but host responded quickly. clearest

Lori Saved the Day

Our family booked on VRBO in February with a different host. Less than 48 hours before we were scheduled to leave the orginal host canceled our reservation. It isn't easy finding another location so last minute for a family of our size but then there was Lori. She was more than willing to work with me and went out of her way to make the needed accommodations. The house was clean and absolutely adorable. The kiddos appreciated the basket of welcoming snacks. The location was close to the falls. The neighborhood is in need of TLC but you tend to forget that once inside the home. Our family is grateful for the host for making our vacation to the falls possible.

Wonderful vacation away

This house is small but amazing, the location was fantastic. We had so much fun, sight seeing, dining in amazing places, house was great, had everything and more in the house to make it seem like home. neighbors were wonderful and very helpful with the area. The sightseeing was gorgeous, loved being near the water falls.

Little Italy duplex

Great location if you want want living space. Older house with original hard wood floors and ceramic tile. Owner kinda uptight about wearing shoes inside when flooring is hard and carpet is tattered and is in need of replacement in bedrooms. No blinds in front bedroom so I had to hang a blanket over curtain rods to keep light out. Pillows hard. No bedside table lamp. Overall we made it work. Used washer and dryer and had to negotiate with owner for use of that.

Staying at Niagara Falls

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The owner, Lori, was prompt with our questions. We love the Falls on the US side more than the Canada side. We gave a 4 stars for the location because of the location itself 😃 The town was poor of activities. Many small shops and restaurants were out of business 🙁 We felt a bit unsafe to walk around the town. But with the car, it was ok, took us about 5-10 minutes to the rainbow bridge which connects US with Canada. On the other side of the bridge is totally a different world with fancy restaurants and multiple shops including the Duty free one. Thanks, Lori, for trying your best to make us feel like staying at home !

Girls’ Trip

The neighborhood was older but it was quiet and easy to get to. We Ubered everywhere we needed to go and filled our three days with several attractions, Seneca Casino and a couple of restaurants. It was nice to come back to a clean home to rest for the next day. Lori was an excellent host and responded to us immediately when we had questions.

Nightmare

We walked in and the place smelled like an.old attic. Buttons were hanging off the couch by a string. The living room carpet was dingy grey. There was some sort of grease running down over the stove. Not to mention the neighborhood was rather sketchy also. I don't see how this got such a high rating on VRBO. Needless to say we relocked the doors notified the owner and left. We went to a hotel to stay. We had to eat the cost of the rental as we were not aware of the condition of the house until we arrived which was too late for a refund. Would not recommend this property to anyone. I have rented many VRBO properties and never disappointed until this one.

Niagara Falls

The Vrbo was cute and clean! Communicating with the Host was great! She responded quickly and sent many suggestions for things to do. She prepared us for the area ahead of time! The Vrbo was not too far from any where we wanted to go. We had a nice visit to the area!

Niagara Attractions

Great location for Niagara Falls. Only 1.8 miles to state park. We walked and although sidewalks are challenging and neighborhood is distressed, everyone is friendly.

Great place to visit the falls

Well kept property within a short distance from Niagara State Park. Two story apartment house. On street parking. Quite neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Easy access to inside apartments. Everything was clean. Laundry room was well kept. Host was informative & asked if we needed anything.

Perfect mid-century house

A Perfect Stay near Niagara Falls

This is a perfect two bedroom home within 10 minutes of Niagara Falls. It was very spacious and well-maintained. Like most of the town, it is on the older side but that just added to the charm. You could tell it has been well-maintained. If you are in the area and need two bedrooms this place will do perfectly!
