"For: Genuine and friendly welcome. Room small but had everything needed - including a small fridge which is unusual and very welcome. Was clean and well stocked and serviced daily. A few minutes walk to the beach at the end of the road. Breakfast was superb and freshly cooked to order. They also do evening meals on request though we didn’t try these. Against: We were in room 1 on the ground floor - facing the road. The number of noisy boy racers and unsilenced motorbikes were a pain...

"The hotel is very close to Bristol airport which makes it perfect for coming on a late flight or departing early in the morning. Easy parking access and very close to rooms. Our triple room was great, perfect for the adults. Bathroom small, however the shower was superb. Complimentary breakfast could be richer."

"The room was absolutely beautiful and was very impressive coming into the building. The views were great and the bed was extremely comfortable. There was a ladybird infestation which was a bit concerning but nonetheless, the room was brilliant and well worth the money. "

"Très bon emplacement à moins de 10 minutes à pied des restaurants et du stade. Par contre, impossible de se doucher - ce qui est très gênant pendant 3 jours et 2 nuits : l'eau était bouillante (même en position froide !!! Appartement petit quand même mais le gros problème a été la douche !!!"

"El apartamento es cómodo y tiene un hervidor de agua, una nevera, una tostadora y luego algunos extras como tabla de planchar, plancha o secador de pelo. La cama es cómoda y la ropa de cama y toallas está limpia, pero hay dos sillas en la habitación en las que no me sentaría por nada del mundo, la ducha no tiene más que el cabezal de arriba y no drena bien. Pero está en muy buen sitio y en general no está mal."

"Basic small room with ultra small ensuite on 2nd floor, no lift for heavy luggage. Bed reasonably comfortable although just big enough for two Adults. Sink in Ensuite barley big enough to wash hands and water pressure to high so splashes over floor. Just passable for an overnight stop, but would suggest a larger room if you value space to move freely. Breakfast brought to your room which was a bit of a squeeze but it was cooked well and was thoughly enjoyed."

"I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult...

"La collocazione è perfetta, con una passeggiata in un verso si arriva in centro, nel verso opposto al Newport Transporter Bridge. La struttura è nuova, pulita, sicura. Mi è stato gentilmente concesso il check in anticipato, cosa che non tutti fanno! L'unico aspetto che rivedrei sono le pulizie: bisognerebbe che le stanze venissero rifatte, se non proprio quotidianamente almeno ogni 2 GG...per brevi soggiorni ok, per quelli un po' più lunghi inizia ad essere un disagio! Per il resto perfetto!"
