My experience at this property was well below expectations. The home was not adequately prepared for our families arrival, with significant cleanliness and maintenance issues noticeable throughout. This took away from what should have been a special weekend. During our stay, we also experienced multiple situations that made us feel uncomfortable and concerned for our privacy and security. These included undisclosed cameras, some positioned to face into bedrooms and common areas, the host demanding additional funds after we arrived or we would need to leave the property immediately, and the host, along with unidentified individuals entering the property while my family and I were present. The host’s communication and conduct were neither professional nor consistent with Stayz policies. As a result, we were only able to remain at the property for one night out of the three booked. We have lodged a formal complaint with Stayz, for multiple policy breaches, including the recovery of additional funds obtained outside the platform. Please let this act as a warning for any future guests.While the property itself has potential, the host’s management and approach created an overall uncomfortable and unacceptable experience. I would not recommend staying here under the current host’s management.
