"What can I say. Our stay was one of the best, if not the best stay I have ever had. I love this hotel. Beautiful grounds, beautiful food, beautiful building. I want to give a special mention to Thomas and Flo on reception. They were incredible. Breakfast to go was ready for 5.00am (we were hiking the three peaks) and nothing was too much for these two staff. Flo was so helpful and friendly and Thomas was such a delight to deal with. The spa: WOW! Pricey but worth it. Wonderful. I’ll see this...

"Clean comfortable and very quiet. Not noticeably busy at all. Rather dated interior & no food served at the hotel. No breakfast lunches or evening meals despite notices outside saying hotel has a restaurant. It doesn’t. Nevertheless it offers reasonable comfortable sleeping accommodation and there are cafe’s & restaurants within a short distance. "

"Stayed with friends for 1 night in a room with double sofa bed and separate double bedroom. We couldn’t fault the room or service at all. Staff were friendly and efficient and we felt really welcome. Dinner and breakfast were cooked perfectly and delicious. The setting is beautiful. Lots of opportunity for walks on the site or perfectly located to drive out and visit Yorkshire’s beautiful scenery. The leisure families were great too. Quiet, clean and relaxing. Super for Families - Everything You Need
"I stayed here with my partner and 2 young children. We booked a room with two double beds - this was perfect. What really impressed me about the hotel was the extra details everywhere to make it really welcoming and easy for families. Toys, games, high chairs, ramps and accesible options - and even some secret doors for elves & fairies hidden around the place. The hotel has a super heated, indoor swimming pool, and a playground outside. I also really appreciated the box of "help yourself" to extra tea, coffee and milk at the reception. These details make all the difference and I want to say a big thank you to the team at Holiday Inn, Lancaster - you are great!!"
