"Accommodation at The Bowling Green is excellent. There are several rooms in a self contained annex right next to the pub. The rooms are of a very high standard and guests have access to a continental breakfast and a mini fridge in the room. We have stayed here many times and have always been impressed. "Really nice hotel. The staff on the front desk were lovely, they offered me and my friend a complimentary cocktail as it was her birthday which was really sweet of them. Beds were comfy, bathroom was nice and love how hot the shower could go! The only downside is that there was a weird smell in the corridors and sometimes in the bar area. Could just be the scent of the cleaner they use but it wasn't the most pleasant smell so I'm not sure. Not enough of a negative to deter me ever staying again...

"Gorgeous hotel in a fab location. Beautiful design throughout. Only thing is in the draw where you would put your clothes, there was a long hair which made me think it hadn’t been cleaned. But everything else in the room was spotless and gorgeous so I would 100% stay again."
