"I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! "

"Lovely one night stay, hotel is modern clean and has large rooms. The bar area is well laid out. We didn’t eat, but due to its location if you need a meal you will likely end up eating there. Only one bad point is that the pillows were feather and soon went flat, I do wish hotels would have a synthetic standby pillow that does not go flat. Other than that we really enjoyed it."

"Staff very freindly and helpful. Room was lovely with a good coffe machine and a complementary scone, cream, jam, etc. Some small problems with light coming through the vision panel in the door but stunning setting really enjoyed stay."

"We had a good stay at the property, staff was very friendly and helpful, bed was huge and very comfortable, comfy pillows too, nice specious room which was tad dated but was clean enough not to spoil our stay. Good pub attached to the hotel, great that it had little play area to keep little ones happy and on the day we arrived there was a bouncy castle which was huge bonus. I would have been happier if breakfast was a bit better. There wasn't a huge choice for the continental breakfast and had...

"The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. "

"Nice location for a quite evening. On arrival the member of staff was welcoming and showed us to our room. I was a little disappointed as i had called the day before to ask for an upgraded room (willing to pay) was told it was sorted but ended up with standard room. It was clean but small and dont think it was worth the £150 per/night. The food on the evening was very good with big portion and after the starters the main was a challange. "Las primeras semanas de una estancia larga me dieron una habitación “normal”, muy cómoda, limpia y confortable. En el momento que el hotel tuvo un aforo elevado me cambiaron a una habitación antigua, con una moqueta que distaba mucho de “limpia” y una cama que no solo no es cómoda si no que te rompe la espalda. A mayores, pago un desayuno que me cobran a 18 €/día y un café cappucino no está incluido. Esta claro que están realizando una mala gestión por parte de alguien."

"the building whilst quite old is also a little tired in some areas and could do with an element of refurbishment. The building is a beautiful hall in even more beautiful setting. The staff were absolutely wonderful and could not have been bettered, So friendly and helpful. Even the two weddings the hotel were catering during our stay did in no way interfere with our long weekend. We had a great time and we already know we will be booking again."

We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect.
