"I stayed there because I had to visit some customers really close. It seems like this place it's more for weddinds or other celebrations than for staying in. The service was not helpful at all. Breakfast it's included but there was a team of people just chatting and nobody came to explain what could I order. I had to go and ask and they were not kind at all. I won't definitely come back."

"There is a large car park but it can get busy at peak times. Register your car at the bar. Our fourth visit in the last year. We like it. Staff, food, atmosphere and location. There are a few maintenance issues that could be addressed, e.g. dripping taps, shower door off runners and touch up of decor in places. We expect to return."

"I don’t usually give feedback but a few things stood out sadly. The postcode took us up the road and the lodge on site is not sign posted so had to get out and ask. There was water pouring through the electrics in the ceiling in the kitchen when we arrive so had to wait whist it was sorted and a frying pan was left on the floor to collect water for the drip for the duration of the trip. The bed is two separate beds pushed together and a really uncomfortable hard lump in the middle! Beds were...

"Really lovely stay. The room was spotless and exactly as we expected. Twin room with en suite shower and bath, situated above a tea room in Bonsall (approx. 5 minute drive from Matlock Bath). Decor was fresh and clean, bed warm and comfy and clothes storage more than adequate. Hospitality tray with hot drinks and biscuits and a selection of toiletries. The breakfast was outstanding.
