"Exceptional service all around"

"The room was specious and with a private terrace facing the grounds. Clean, silent and well furnished. Only light by the mirror was not for makeup. Small towels for a luxurious hotel. Pool area had no “adult only time”. Too many noisy children and ignorant parents. Staff were friendly and supportive. "

"This was a great place to stay. Right on Lake Macquarie. Very relaxing. Great cabin, staff and communication. When there was an issue with one of the toilets on site, or when aclean up neededto be done on the jumping pad, a text message was sent out letting us all know. Also liked the fairy lights around the very clean bbq just behind our cabin. And the sound of frogs in the creek behind us was amazing. "

"Yes the property is dated, but you would not use the room much except for sleeping...it's the remarkable views and the prime location why one should book this place! It's the staff that make or break an experience! And every staff member I met was absolutely fantastic with top quality customer service! Definitely returning :) If you read any negative comments about this place/dinning experience, please ignore that rating. It is absolute BS. For a 4 star property it is top class...

"I love staying at The Lucky!. The staff are excellent, always happy to assist and always cheerful. The rooms are great, especially for pub accommodation, and there is a nice lively restaurant in the central atrium. Location is perfect."
