"Ottimo servizio sia a colazione che alla reception! Siamo stati solo una notte ma ci siamo trovati molto bene. Ci si arriva in 20 minuti a piedi dalla stazione. Con i trolley la passeggiata è un po’ scomoda quindi forse sarebbe più comodo arrivare in taxi. Camera pulita con acqua gratis, shampoo e crema per il corpo. Colazione molto buona, tipica degli hotel italiani. "

"What a charming place. I just loved it! It is a dream! Lots of green areas, parking is a plus, the place is ancient, but is very well kept! The outside is so charming. The room was like... going back in time! So charming! The room had air conditioning, and the bathroom is great, quite new. Staff is extremely friendly. We had dinner there one night and food is fantastic. Their Chianti wine is so good! And the best was when I was leaving and Signore Antonio spend some precious minutes chatting...

"We stayed in the suite for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful jumping off point for Tuscany. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast options were also great. Volterra is a sizable town and on the tourist trail for people coming in from Florence for sure, but we still had no trouble getting restaurant reservations and things were much more quiet in the evenings."

"L’Antico Pozzo never disappoints. This is our second time staying here, and the only way to see San Gimignano. While the tourist hordes overrun the town, sit in their quiet courtyard and enjoy a relaxing afternoon with a bottle of wine, then walk to all of the towns attractions in the evening when the buses have all gone. Matteo was a great host, rooms are clean, comfortable and roomy. Location is tough to beat, just a short walk from the parking outside the city walls. "

"I will dream of this property forever. It has the most magnificent view of San Gimignano and the countryside, and is literally a 5 minute drive into town. It was the perfect escape for our honeymoon this summer. The only thing I wish we had, was more time to enjoy the hotel. The breakfast was super tasty! "
