Tipi Camping Experience — sleeps up to 4Love camping but want to try something new? Stay in a roomy Tipi with power, lights, phone charging, and access to a shared bath house with hot showers and a full shared kitchen. After a day exploring nearby parks and monuments, return to a hot shower, cooking space, Wi-Fi, and a campfire bowl under the stars.

The Tipi can sleep up to 4 people on provided cots. Please bring your own sleeping bags and blankets. The shared pavilion kitchen includes a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, cookware, tables, and covered seating.

Set at 7,200 ft elevation in a quiet forest setting with views of the mountains, the area stays cool and breezy in summer without the need for A/C. The location is central to more than a dozen national and state parks and monuments, ancient ruin sites, and miles of hiking and sightseeing.

An excellent choice

It was exactly as advertised. Even though the night was in the 40s we were comfortable. Beautiful dark-sky location. The facilities were clean and well supplied.

I've always wanted to spend the night in a tipi. It's very much a camping tipi set up with bottles of water for us and cots, pillows and blankets. Great stay.

A Lifetime Fan

I can't love this place enough. It was clean, the staff were SO KIND yet very respectful of our privacy, and the area was beautiful. It was close enough to town to be able to get supplies easily, but remote enough to enjoy the wildlife and quiet. We will be back for sure, and have already recommended it to friends and strangers alike!

Quiet setting...but still close to town. Recieved a call the day before check in....very simple procedure. Restroom/showers were spotless and warm.

Beautiful scenery, too much noise

The tipi was an interesting and cool experience. Exactly as described in the posting. Sadly, there was so much noise from the road, barking dogs and loud neighbors, I didn't sleep a wink. Scheduled 2 days, only stayed 1.

Great spot. Restroom/shower house was fully stocked with everything you need including towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Fully equipped kitchen available to use as well. Stars were amazing. Tipi was in the perfect spot for watching the sunrise. Definitely will be back!

Lovely and private. Our only complaint was the extremely firm bunk bed. The double bed was great. The shared bathrooms were super clean, and there was a very nice, complete kitchen area in the pavilion (which we did not use). I would definitely stay there again.
