"Luxury! The suite was beautiful and comfortable. Our patio had a gorgeous view of the lake and city. I would have loved to stay longer. Aside from being fairly near the train station and the Italian restaurant across the way, there isn't much nearby. We did hike the trail behind the hotel to the top of the mountain, and that was lovely. The receptionist was very helpful in coordinating and explaining our transit options to Lake Como."

"Wunderschönes altes Grand Hotel mit Charme und unglaublicher Aussicht auf den Lago di Varese und das Monterosa Gebirge. Es war zur Weihnachtszeit festlich dekoriert und voller Lichterketten. Das Frühstück war für italienische Verhältnisse sehr reichhaltig und das Abendessen im Restaurant Liberty lohnenswert. Im Sommer ist es sicherlich noch schöner auf der herrlichen Säulenterrasse zu sitzen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dort übernachten. "

"I normally do not write reviews; but, wanted to for this hotel. It is a small quaint hotel. It actually has a small pool and hot tub with incredible views. It is actually located in Vezio right outside of Varenna. At first, I was concerned about the location from Varenna. However, Rita the proprietor made sure we had transportation from the train station as well as to and from all of our points of interest. We seriously wanted for nothing. Rita and the staff made sure all our needs were taken...
