We advised ahead of our stay that my Husband has coeliac disease and were advised they could cater gluten free.
When we arrived the staff were great and provided us with a gluten free meal in the evening.
Unfortunately that’s where the accommodation of his allergy stopped. At breakfast no staff members were able to advise us of what he could eat that was gluten free or whether any changes could be made to cater for him. He ate a fruit salad for breakfast and we ate out the rest of the day.
Unfortunately this was the same every morning at the hotel.
The “free” transfer from the Funicular was actually €5 each but was very helpful. Some of the reception staff were unable to give us much information on the area and getting to and from places.
The room was advertised as a “junior suite” but was just a room with a bathroom and a balcony. It was efficient but definitely not a suite.
