"Location is good, opposite is the ski resort, which has good snow. Overall room was well maintained, public Onsen was nice too. However we came during early ski season, there is barely any restaurants opens. Hotel cafe food is a bit expensive, and not much choice (mainly western). If plan to stay may order half board instead, or tell hotel staff to reserve dinner before 10am"

"We will definitely go back to Takimoto. It’s a great little hotel with everything you need - spacious boot and ski room, free lockers, day room, lounge with fire and free marshmallows for toasting every day, washing machines and tumble dryers, onsen, restaurant, wine and beer and an illy coffee machine. But most importantly the staff are lovely particularly Aki the manager and it is sooo close to the main Tagamaghara lift. One of the best ski holidays we’ve had. The decor is a little dated but...

"The servuce was 1st class from the first moment till the end. This was a highlight to our monthlong trip. Such pride in proving excellent everything. The half board option is so worth it. What a missed opportunity if you don't. The owner is so nice and lovely. She will greet you and make you feel at home."

"Stayed 2 nights to rest and recover before going to Tokyo. The hotel was a short walk from the station with idyllic scenery with beautiful Sakura and mountains.
The personelle were super nice and helpful. They provided a free bus ride to the snow monkey park.
The room was spacious and comfy. The hotel dinner and breakfast were amazing. Highly recommend the dinner.
The onsen was really hot which took some time getting used to but I think that’s part of the experience.

Excelente atención, en mi reservación faltaba una persona más y me resolvieron al momento, íbamos especialmente a ver a los snow monkeys y cuando llegamos nos llevó personalmente hasta el parque a verlos sin cobrar nada, nos dieron regalo de despedida y siempre estuvieron atentos a que estuviéramos cómodos, el lugar está a 4 minutos caminando de estación de tren, autobús y supermercado!"

"Amabilidad del personal (especialmente del propietario y su mujer). No hablan inglés pero su amabilidad y esfuerzo suple esta carencia con creces
Como punto a mejorar, el horario del desayuno no se adapta a los horarios de los primeros trenes, por lo que hay que verificar los horarios o perderás el desayuno a pesar de haberlo pagado (como nos pasó a nosotros)"

Independientemente de eso, todo el personal fue súper amable, unos hablaban más inglés q otros pero fueron muy pacientes con nuestro poco japonés y nos enseñaron nuevas palabras. Fue un fin de semana de castañas, relax y snow monkeys :)"

"Un auténtico Ryokan a precio asequible, la familia a penas hablaban 3 palabras en inglés pero eran súper simpáticos, me trajeron de la estación, me llevaron a la reserva de los monos y me vinieron a buscar.
Todo fue muy tradicional y auténtico, la habitación pavimentada con tatamis, el quimono, el onsen, terma natural y el entorno.
Me faltaba un desayuno tradicional y en 2 días estaría hablando japonés."

Ao chegar no hotel, eles disponibilizam roupas típicas da cultura japonesa para serem usadas durante a estadia, que achamos bem legal. A comida é típica japonesa. O onsen (banho quente) é público e é maravilhoso. Ao se hospedar nesse hotel, alem da comida e vestimenta, dormimos no tatame. Muito bom."

"Wonderful hospitality, with a historic, step back in time feel. The most kind host who runs the ryokan as the 3rd descendant of the family - it was begun by his grandfather. The property is dated with rough edges but it is a great option at a good price.
The town is a sleepy but the few small restaurants we found were so good and cozy. The public hot baths by the train station were very nice and the neighboring town has a public onsen that can be accessed for a fee (it is one of the 9 the...

"Everyone on staff made us feel welcome from the start. Aziz and both ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful and lovely people. We will always remember them abs their friendliness and how nice our stay was. Will stay here again. The onsen is fabulous!"

"Se nota que es un resort en horas bajas. Las instalaciones necesitan renovarse. Le falta bastante limpieza. No hay champú ni gel de baño en el baño de la habitación; sólo hay en los baños públicos del mismo hotel.
No puedo opinar sobre la comida. El almuerzo es bastante típico japonés. Es buffet pero poca cantidad. Si no bajas a almorzar a primera hora encuentras pocas cosas para escoger.
Tiene un bus que te lleva al centro de Yubatake y que pasa cada hora. El primer bus sale a las 8:00 de la mañana. El último bus del día sale alas 18:50 del hotel y te recoge a las 19:00 en Yubatake. Más tarde de esta hora hay que hacer el camino a pie, aunque no está lejos de Yubatake."
