"We loved our stay in Apple Valley! This was our first time using VRBO. The host was very responsive and kind. The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more! The updated interior was both beautiful and comfortable. I enjoyed the local artists work displayed throughout the home-such a nice touch! Plenty of extra blankets including throw blankets in the living room. Although we only stayed a weekend I miss drinking my coffee with a view of the lake. Highly recommend!"

"This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We have a "guys weekend" every year to just unplug from life for a couple days. This was a central location between Columbus, Cleveland and Akron where we were traveling from, and very easy to find. We comfortably slept 8 adults, had enough room in the living space/kitchen to gather and loved spending the day by the water and nights around the fire. Definitely recommend!"

"Nice location, clean home, but the shower’s water pressure was like standing under a watering can sprinkler. If you turn the hot water down, the pressure gets less. Takes forever to get the soap rinsed off your body and hair. Other than that, nice accommodations"

"First of all, this place is as well-equipped as any VRBO you will see, particularly in the kitchen. Not just pots and pans and dishes but every type of gadget or small appliance you could possibly need and an entire cabinet full of spices, oil, flour, etc. We went in April to see the eclipse and other than a couple of family members not making it due to health issues, it was a near perfect trip. "This rental was perfect. The landscape is beautiful with farmland, farm animals, and valleys. The area is rural but very convenient to shopping. The rental had all of the necessary conveniences, and it was super clean. We would highly recommend this rental. We’re looking forward to a return visit."

"The Riverside Retreat was a respite from the noise of our lives. We enjoyed the clean, well-supplied VRBO space. It was close to everything we wanted to see and do while we were in Strasburg and the surrounding area. If you stay at the Riverside Retreat, be sure to visit the many historical places around the area. Zoar and the Ohio Erie Canal sites are very interesting, along with Fort Laurens, the first continental outpost of the Ohio Frontier, during the American Revolution."

"We felt very much at home with this property. It was very clean and comfortable. It was well furnished with plenty of towels, wash clothes, kitchen utensils, coffee and tea, snacks, condiments, cookies and fresh flowers. "Close to the parks for hiking, biking, tubing/canoing, fishing for exploaration. The lodge, itself has better amenities than a hotel. Even if it is rainy, there is plenty of space to unwind with the family under the covered patio. A multitude of different games to choose from so everyone in the family can find something they like. "Very clean and updated! Only thing, the AC didnt work in our room nor in the living room nor kitchen. Our room was 80° when we got there and it wouldnt come on. They gave us 2 other rooms to choose from and they were both fine. We have friends in CA and would like to bring them over sometime so hopefully this issue can be resolved soon. Thank you much!"
