  • Welcome to The Oaks, our cozy farmhouse built in 1920. This freshly renovated farmhouse has a very cozy and cabin-like feel to it, with all of the beautiful hardwood floors and rustic Oak barn-wood furniture throughout! Centrally located in Amish Country, your stay is minutes from Winesburg, Berlin, and Walnut Creek, OH. Soak in the hot tub and enjoy the scenic countryside views or sip a fresh cup of coffee on our spacious back deck. We are committed to making your stay relaxing and memorable!

    SLEEPING SPACE:
    We have cozy sleeping arrangements for 4 guests.
    Bedroom 1: King Bedroom Suite
    Bedroom 2: Full Bedroom Suite

    Guests will need to walk through Bedroom 1 to get to Bedroom 2. Both bedrooms are upstairs. Stairs are slightly more steep than normal, however, a handrail is installed.

    KITCHEN:
    The full kitchen includes cutlery, cookware, bakeware, measuring utensils, and dinnerware.
    Kitchen appliances include a fridge/freezer with an ice-maker, oven, stove, dishwasher, coffee-maker, microwave, toaster, mixer, and an electric tea kettle.

    ENTERTAINMENT:
    We have a TCL 50" 4K Smart TV with a Netflix Subscription for your movie night!

    WORK SPACE:
    The kitchen features a counter height barn-wood table, perfect for use as a desk if you are on a work trip.

    Blazing fast, Fiber Internet is provided by MCTV. The internet easily handles video conferences and movie streaming.

    COUNTRY SETTING:
    Our farmhouse is located in the country on 3 acres, next to a woods. Our cleaning team follows a rigorous cleaning regimen after each stay to ensure your experience is top notch. Our house is treated bi-monthly for pest control, however, you may see an insect or a few during your stay. Hospitality is something we love, and we look forward to sharing The Oaks with you!

Wonderful stay.The 1920’s Farm was a great stay. Well, thought out concerning necessities, such as plenty of towels, coffee, etc. The Spa was supper and the gas fire pit bade the evening, perfect. Highly recommend this stay.

Property was great, extremely clean and well maintained. Host was awesome with communication. Fire pit and hot tub were both excellent. Location is very easy to get to from interstate 77. Highly recommended!

This place was awesome! Tucked away, clean and perfect for a getaway! The host was always available if we needed anything! I definitely recommend this place!

A cozy and comfortable place to stay. The outside deck was by far my favorite of this hidden little gem. Enjoyed the fire pit, coffee and a good book while it was raining. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. Conveniently located between all the little towns but tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting. Enjoyed driving all the back roads to get to places we wanted to go. The complimentary coffee and snacks were a nice touch. Would stay here again!

We loved staying at this house - we especially loved the porch and hot tub! The house was a cool mix of modern with historic farm house. Communication with the host was great as well. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time at this 1920s house/cabin. Beautifully updated to keep its rustic 1920s look. The hot tub was a bonus, and marketplace/dining was right up the road.. Would definitely recommend!

We did not get in the hot tub, it was right out in the open with a road right behind it. Not private at all. The house was nice and the beds were comfy.

The house was very nicely decorated with everything you could have asked for. The beds were very comfortable. The host responded to our texts very quickly. Wonderful visit. Wonderful view of colorful leaves.

We knew we were staying in a farmhouse, but we didn’t realize it was tucked into the countryside of the largest Amish community. It was amazing to see all of the surrounding farms, quaint shops, and hear the clip-clop of horses on the roads. The farmhouse itself was cozy and inviting. We especially enjoyed the porch with the lights and fire pit. Most of our evenings were spent out there enjoying the beautiful view. The beds and couches were comfortable. The kitchen had all of the utensils and cookware that we needed to be able to cook meals. The grill on the porch was put to good use. The host was easy to reach when we had a couple of questions. I definitely recommend staying at this cozy and beautiful location. We would love to visit again!

It was cute and comfortable. The hot tub and back deck were fantastic for relaxing. The host clearly pays attention to details as everything was stylish and purposeful. Off the beaten path enough for privacy, but not so remote you're stuck with nothing to do.

Relaxing getaway

Looked just like the pictures. The deck was beautiful to sit on with a great view. We spent a lot of time there. Property was very pretty. Wish it had a hammock or porch swing.

A charming and restful stay at The Oaks

We absolutely loved our time at The Oaks! This beautifully restored 1920s farmhouse in Dundee, Ohio was everything we hoped for and more. It was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity we could possibly need. The space was incredibly inviting—both comfortable and full of character.One of the highlights of our stay was the magical firefly display each evening. Sitting out on the deck or soaking in the hot tub while watching the fireflies dance across the yard was unforgettable. The deck itself was a perfect place to relax, dine, and take in the peaceful surroundings.Every detail of the home made it feel like a special retreat. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway in Amish Country
