"At less than $200/night minutes away from Greenwich Village with easy access to midtown Manhattan, this hotel is exceptional. Feels more like a boutique hotel than a hostel. The rehab of this late 19th century building keeps up with the needs of today's guest in every way but one: guests must carefully review the website and its photos. This building has no elevator and many long, steep flights of stairs. One must be very aware of this and plan accordingly. "

"I would definitely stay here again. Rooms were a good size for New York. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had an issue with the light flashing but the staff came in quick to fix the issue, there also was a room near by with a dog that kept barking. Not sure if the staff could do anything about, but I wish we would give an option to move. The location was great with stores nearby, good food options and close enough for the subway. We would highly recommend this to anyone "

"I have been 2 times before this one and all hotels have been good, but this is the best so far. Will keep using this hotel in the future. The location is great. Door to door with the grand central terminal. Walk distance to time square and the shops at 5th Ave. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend. "

"Amazing stay! Staff was so friendly and helpful! Room was clean and shower was just perfect. Staff was able to help us with our bags after check out but before out flight and helped us get transportation. Room keys to unlock our floor made us feel so safe as a couple 20 year old girls visiting the city. Location was so close to grand central and times square that we walked a lot of our trip but also close enough to subway terminals when we needed to go farther. Will be staying again next...
