"In short, Casa Kuxtal made our stay in Merida magical. The kids lived in the pool when we weren’t climbing Maya ruins, touring museums or eating cochinita pibil in one of the many nearby restaurants. The house is stocked with everything you need (and nothing you don’t), including the kitchen. While the central location can’t be beat, it’s a quiet oasis once inside and in the back garden. To top it off, Esteban (our host) was quick with communication and very accommodating. Make this your Merida...

"Excellent property! Clean, well maintained, A/C in common areas. 2 bedrooms on the main level in the main house- 1 king size bed-the other is a full . Behind the pool, there’s a separate house with 1 bedroom on ground level-full size bed-one bedroom accessible by spiral stair case-full size bed. All 4 bedrooms have an attached bath. No common bath. Home is BEAUTIFULLY decorated."

"I felt I had found a diamond in the rough. The gate opened to a beautiful pool, in front of the large patio. The house was large and the layout was perfect for us. We have a large family and little children so safety was very important. One bedroom and bathroom on first floor so you didn’t have to climb steps to potty. You walk through the house and a very large patio with a view of the Gulf that is beautiful. Gates and locks were perfect for the children.The host answered any question...

"Property was clean and attractive, did not use stove as have never used a gas stove before, instructions would be helpful in the booklet made by the host in the property. Needed earplugs to sleep as neighbours dogs barked a lot throughout the night and traffic is busy. Other wise a lovely stay. thank you"

"The owners are responsive to communication and setup a chat with the team to make sure we were all in sync. The team kept the house clean and made sure that if anything came up, it was taken care of. For example, a fan broke down and was fixed within that same day. 👍 The chef service was a great addition. We had delicious local cuisine right at home. Everyone was super friendly. The house is beautifully decorated with unique and museum level items, fully appointed with everything we needed....

"All I can say is WOW WOW WOW. This property was absolutely stunning. Photos dont do it justice. It was like staying in our own private museum - every corner of the house was a delight to look at - we felt so lucky to be there. Super comfortable bed, soft sheets, well-equipped kitchen and beautifully placed artwork everywhere. I loved the tile floors and enormously high ceilings. The place is HUGE which you cant tell by the photos. There were a few reviews that it wasn't very clean, but we did...

"There is no AC in the main living areas. This is a problem when the temp outside is 100+. We really couldn't enjoy the house because it was too hot to move around. We were confined to the bedrooms. If you are traveling in cooler months this is a great option. The living area is large and nicely decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped. Nice little courtyard with pool and a large 2nd floor patio. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Location is good. Parking available on the street."

"Amazing, refreshing family holiday! We loved this quiet, private beach front property. Pool was well maintained. Property manager met us on initial check in! Great places to eat within walking distance and there was fruit and vegetables at a local market. Bedrooms (2) comfortable with air conditioner in each room. The locals were helpful and friendly.Would definitely recommend this site if you're looking for a relaxing, private getaway."
