"Lovely location, comfy bed, nice and quiet when pub closes at 11pm (wasn't very noisey before then) parking on site, bottled water and biscuits in room, spacious room. Fantastic Full English Breakfast included, probably the best I've ever had; thanks Chef Matt 🏆 Arthur & Kay were very friendly, helpful and efficient 🙏 A great place to stay, eat and drink, thank you! "

"Great place to stay overseas in quiet peaceful surroundings. Staff happy and helpful, especially Yvonne at breakfast. Very good dinner options and an excellent breakfast. Would definitely go back. "

"Stayed for family business nearby. Unexpectedly good value and well located. Parking was easy, comments on expedia and other suggest on busy days like weddings that this may be less so, although seems to be overflow parking available. "

"Beautiful village and great village pub feel. We had dinner at the pub and it was really good. The bathroom looked brand new and had a great powerful shower. Only thing to note - which was not a problem for us but could be to those with limited mobility is that I felt the stairs to the room were quite steep."

"It is an Bed and Breakfast in a country side home. The host were very kind and hospitable. It felt like being a guest in your grandma's house. They accomodated our schedule with no complaints."

"I stayed at the White Hart on a work trip and it was delightful. Quintessential English charm and all the comforts of home while I was away. The food was great and the coffee/lattes are even better. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was neat and comfortable. I was sad to have to leave but had a lovely time!"

"Stayed at Lodge at Solent for a family wedding. The room we had was very pleasant but spoilt by the bleach stains & marks on the carpet. The room was very clean & there was a good shower. The bed was ok but bit harder than I would have liked We didn't have the continental breakfast but did have a meal in the bar on one of the evenings we stayed, I had the Hunters chicken. It was very average & not a large portion for the price. We found the staff very friendly & helpful."

"Likes Clean rooms comfortable bed,friendly staff,nice affordable food.Dislike tired ground floor decor carpets,outside,tired furniture,untidy garden,Room wise,no shower bath only which was awkward to get in &out,traffic noise from nearby road even withwindows closed"

"Hotel muy cómodo; sin embargo su servicio dejó mucho que desear. Las toallas de cara y manos fueron retiradas, pero nunca reemplazadas por toallas limpias y tuve un vaso sucio en la habitación (Batido de fresa) por casi 3 días (la limpieza pasó y a pesar de estar visible, nunca lo retiró)."
