"Most importantly, the room was clean. Indoor slippers were provided as well.
The place is a little ways from the station, so be prepared to walk around 10 minutes to the nearest subway station.
Checkin was relatively straightforward- you can use a kiosk to check in/out yourself, and many languages (English, Chinese, Korean, Japanese) are supported. There is also a multi-language currency conversion machine available in the lobby. Staff are okay and available at the front desk.

"Unfortunately, my stay was not very comfortable.
One of the biggest issues was the bathroom's sliding door. It would not stay fully closed and kept sliding open on its own, which was quite inconvenient. I would especially not recommend this hotel for couples who value privacy.
The soundproofing was also poor. The walls seemed very thin, and I could clearly hear the woman in the neighboring room walking around in high heels, which was quite disturbing.
I even spotted small bugs several times,...

"Location is the best right in middle of Insadong. Small room a bit tight for two people. The shower gets the floor all wet in Korean style bathroom. There’s little space by the sink for your toiletries. We had to use the closet outside by the mirror"

場所も良く、近くにＥマートやロッテ百貨店、安くて美味しい飲食店などがたくさんあります。
タクシーもたくさん通るのですぐに利用する事ができました。
旅行中にタクシーにカバンを忘れると言うアクシデントがありましたが、フロントの方が親切に対応して下さり近くの交番までの道案内をしてくれました。
日本語も大丈夫なようです。
カバンは残念ながら返ってきませんでしたが、親切な対応に感謝でいっぱいです。
部屋も綺麗で広くて我が家のように寛げました。
大型の冷蔵庫、独立したリビングもポイント高いです。
大人数での家族旅行でしたら、コスパが良いと思います。"

"Great place and a great location, walking distance to several shops and stores. English speaking staff was very helpful. emart is located inside the hotel building and a CU mart across the street. Location is probably 20-25 min walk to Myeongdong district. Bar stools inside the room were very uncomfortable and hard wood.
A bit pricey hotel for the location but something to consider for a short taxi/uber rides to majority of the touristy destination."

"Great stay at the Glad Mapo hotel in Seoul. Hotel is ideally located, right next to Gongdoek station which made travelling around Seoul very easy. Room was perfect with walk in shower and plenty of space. Breakfast was good especially the Asian selection. Highly recommend a stay here, very reasonable and also easy getting to airport, local stopping train taking about an hour directly from Gongdoek station."
