"I really wanted to love this 250 year estate. I loved The history , the idea of the chocolate estate and supporting local . This could be a real gem and I am aware it gets great reviews that’s why I chose it I will say for a night or two may be ok I would not do longer than that . We had the cottage with a pool . It’s not the resorts fault this is a very eco type hotel in that there is no hot water in the shower for example and they say it’s an outdoor shower but it really was more a gas...

"Absolutely a great place to stay. Quiet, small, relaxing with a very calm beach. If you’re looking for a place with more things to do this is not the place. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and relax without being a bigger resort with a lot of noice you will love it. No snorkeling here as there is nothing to see. Location is NOT walkable to anything, which we did not know as far as looking on a map. The street this property is on requires a rental car or taxi to get around for anything...

"Loved our stay at Tet Rouge - the infinity pool with the view of heaven, the view from our apt., the brief rain showers!, the lack of bugs, the service from EVERYONE, the food, the peace, the kindness."

"The staff was amazing, the resort was quiet and peaceful. The food was solid, the beach was fun and the coastline cruise excursion was a great time. Did I mention the staff??? "We had one day to stay at this location so given the pics, we felt this was a good fit. It is a 1/2 hour from the airport but that's about the best thing. When we got there, the place was empty and that was fine. We were past prime season, but the 6 cats and the smell of cat urine was too much. The views were great from the bar and patio, the rooms very average with one that reeked of cat pee. We took our losses and left. We did not stay overnight as it was just too smelly. The one beer...
