"Nice quiet spot, parking alongside, and big surprise we were not expecting was the fabulous food in bar/restaurant in the evening, lovely selection and well presented and far beyond what we may have expected from a small hotel like this, next day breakfast also good, all in all highly recommended. "The room was clean and bed was comfy. The night I stayed thieves stole a motorbike from the carpark. For some reason the lights in the carpark are turned off in the middle of the night, leaving the carpark in darkness and reducing security as we found out. Might be good to leave the lights on in the carpark to increase security. I wouldn't leave valuables in my car here!"

"Staff are very busy so expect wait in line to check in, ask a question, get in to breakfast. Also breakfast items were not restocked quickly enough. No bowls and no one to ask, no cups for juice(did get restocked), pastries slow in putting out more. Juice wasn’t cold. Great position, close to everything, staff doing their best but could do with more staff in our opinion, they all were very busy. Told valet car was out the back when it was out the front as well. "

"The accommodation/peoperty is in good condition and has been very well maintained as a heritage Victorian type architecture. The sitting area at the back was a bit messy and not well kept. It was great having a shared common dining room and sitting areas where we could relax, enjoy a cup of tea or a drink at the end of the day or in the mornings. Unfortunately, the dining area was not regularly stocked up with drinking water/biscuits. The 2 mornings we were there, the dirty fushes from...

"The shower walls and floor were absolutely rotten with soap scum and skin. I wiped at a small section with shampoo and a cloth over my finger and it revealed a different colour underneath. Utterly filthy with the walls needing a good scrub, walls need cleaning and painting, "
