Stylish two-bedroom condo with free parking.

You will feel at home in this stylish and unique space. Our beautiful loft apartment is arranged over three floors of the historic Royal Victoria Patriotic Building with views over leafy Wandsworth Common. Fully equipped and tastefully decorated with souvenirs from our diplomatic postings, it provides a peaceful retreat, yet is only 10 minutes from Northcote Road’s shops, bars and restaurants and 15 minutes from Clapham Junction. Access to a courtyard with water feature is a bonus!
The light, airy kitchen/dining/ reception room is fully equipped to host elegant dinner parties or enjoy casual meals at home. The kitchen island seats 8, there are two cream leather sofas and an armchair as well as a coffee table. There are two refrigerators as well as a gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher and microwave.
The study/ second bedroom opens onto the balcony and has a desk and stylish sofa that opens up into a comfortable double bed.

Upstairs on the mezzanine is the TV, sofa, electronic drum kit, shelving and a book case. You will find the WiFi router here.

The walk-in wardrobe has room to hang your clothes.

The bathroom contains the lavatory, a basin and vanity unit with USB outlets and a mobile phone charger, heated towel rail, a shower, washer/dryer and the boiler. There is also a heated drying rail stowed in the walk-in wardrobe.

The main bedroom is in the turret. The king size bed is very comfortable and there’s space in the chest if drawers for your clothes.

There is WiFi throughout, gas central heating and infrared panels in each room for fast heating.

We are on the top floor of the building and there are lots of steps up and then more stairs inside. Once you have arrived, you will find peace and tranquility and the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing, shopping or walking!

Die Wohnung ist wirklich toll und alles andere als normal. Trotz der Größe ist es sehr gemütlich und wir haben uns schnell wohl gefühlt. Nancy ist sehr darauf bedacht das dir nichts fehlt und man sich voll und ganz auf die Zeit in der Stadt konzentrieren kann. Dahin kommt man auch sehr gut und günstig mit dem Bus der nur ein paar Meter entfernt hält. Es war eine tolle Zeit und werden bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal da gewesen sein.

Wir haben 1 Woche in dieser fantastischen Wohnung verbracht. Sie ist für 4 Personen sehr großzügig, hat eine überdurchschnittliche Ausstattung und liegt in einem historischen Gebäude, welches einem den Atem nimmt. Einfach toll! Das Restaurant im gleichen Haus "Le Gothique" ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ein Uber ins Zentrum kostet abends nur noch ca. 18 bis 25 Pfund. Für eine Familie mit kleineren Kindern eingeschränkt zu empfehlen, da Treppen und weit auseinander liegende Schlafzimmer. Für uns mit erwachsenen Kindern aber perfekt. Die Eigentümerin Nancy hat sich reizend um uns per Chat gekümmert. Vielen Dank nochmal.

The flat is large and eclectically decorated. It has 3 levels which provides space if you are staying with friends. There are two separate living rooms!The building has interesting history and you can still see some of the old architecture inside the flat. It’s a short 15 minute train ride to London in a quiet neighborhood which has grocery stores and local pubs. Nancy was a wonderful host, friendly and knowledgeable. Both beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nancy!!

Nancy has a wonderful, cozy apartment that—if you don't mind stairs—offers a warm and inviting retreat in this busy city. We really appreciated the personal welcome, the artistic yet very functional furnishings, the spaciousness of the apartment, and the convenient location near bus stops, Clapham Junction, and the pleasantly quiet Wandsworth Common Park. Our little dog was welcomed with his own cozy sleeping mat and a bag of treats—he loved both! I highly recommend a stay at Nancy's apartment in the down-to-earth, diverse, and dynamic south of London!

Sensationell! Einzigartige Unterkunft, spektakulär. Und sauber. Und wunderbar ausgestattet. Das Wlan ist stabil, die Bar/Restaurant unten im Haus genauso praktisch wie der gratis Parkplatz vor der Tür. London City-CITY erreicht man mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in 45 Minuten, für einen Uber muss man ca. 25 investieren und ist rund 25 Minuten unterwegs. Für diese Mega City also quasi mittendrin, und dafür ist der Preis dann auch geradezu ein Knaller. Immerhin gibt es 2 abgeschlossene Schlafzimmer für je 2 Personen, neben der Küche/Wohnraum Kombination und der Galery mit dem riesigen TV. Die Dusche wie auch das ganze Bad ist modern und geräumig.Nancy, die Vermieterein, ist an Aufmerksam- und Liebeswürdigkeit nicht zu übertreffen. Kommen wir wieder nach London - versuchen wir diese sensationelle Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder zu buchen! Danke Nancy!

If you're looking for something special, this is the place for you. The apartment is located in a fantastic historic building. The apartment has a truly wonderful character. We felt at home from the very first minute. It's a wonderful mix of antique and new. There's so much to discover...simply fantastic. Nancy is a truly outstanding host. Communication with her was easy, and she had a lot of good information. We received a warm welcome from co-host Sue, and everything was explained to us very well. Drinks and food were already waiting for us. We can recommend it 100 percent. Simply a dream.

Spring Break in London!

We had a wonderful stay in London and that was due in large part to our stay at Nancy's home. The flat was charming, clean, and cozy. We really appreciated the warm welcome and all of the really great suggestions for restaurants and attractions - only if we had time to experience them all. Overall, this was a great place to stay with easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. And the surrounding area itself was very charming.

This flat was perfect for our family of four! Our host was amazing from start to finish! Excellent location, very close to the train and quite a few restaurants, shops and groceries. Wandsworth common is a beautiful park right next door. We would definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful place to stay in London. Nancy is a terrific host, and was so very accommodating when our flights were significantly delayed. She greeted us warmly once we finally arrived, and carefully walked us through the apartment to share details of her lovely home. It is beautifully decorated, and tells such a unique story from a life well lived. Nancy also provided us with a robust guide that detailed everything from various options for getting around London, nearby sights, and recommended places to eat. She pointed us towards the nearby County Arms which turned out to be our favorite pub we visited the entire trip. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay, and we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Fantastic

The host and Cohost were lovely. They answered all questions promptly and were very accommodating. They offered recommendations on local spots to visit/dine. We were able to use public transit as well as Uber to get around easily. We would stay here again.
