Welcome to our newly renovated and beautifully designed 3 bedroom townhouse in the charming neighborhood of Barnsbury. This stunning property has been thoughtfully designed with modern amenities and stylish decor to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests.

The house sits within a charming terrace, characterised by a typical Georgian façade of London stock brick and stucco rendering, painted in ‘Railings’ by Farrow and Ball. The original frontage has been restored, reinstating the arched sash window on the first floor (now double glazed and sound insulated) while adding thoughtfully planted window boxes.

A short set of stairs leads to the smart panelled front door with brass features, which opens directly onto a bright living area, where oiled oak herringbone parquet by Havwoods grounds the space. This room is dual aspect, allowing plenty of natural light to illuminate white-washed walls, which appear throughout. There are two decorative fireplaces with plenty of shelving on either side for storage.

A staircase leads to the lower ground floor, where the kitchen and dining area is located. Architecture for London has completely reimagined this space, transforming the rear courtyard into an impressive conservatory enclosed by a luscious green wall. Oak parquet flooring is warmed by underfloor heating on this level.

The bespoke kitchen sits at the front of the plan, predominantly executed with a dark grey and pink palette with fixtures by Buster and Punch. Solid white concrete work surfaces and an integrated sink by Mortise concrete mirror the industrial feel exposed beams overhead. There is a line of integrated full-height cupboards on the opposite wall, while ‘melt lamps’ by Tom Dixon hang above. From here, glazed doors open onto a small front patio. There is also a WC on this floor painted playful bubblegum pink, with a matching concrete sink and rose gold taps by Lusso Stone.

A spacious double bedroom and an impeccably designed bathroom sit on the first floor. The bedroom has full-height wardrobes, and two sash windows look over Liverpool Road. Stripped back floorboards flow throughout this room. A freestanding copper bath by London Encaustic sits in the centre of the bathroom, which also has a spacious walk-in shower with fixtures by ABI interiors and concrete tiles by Porcelanosa. There is also underfloor heating.

Two further bedrooms sit on the third floor, a master bedroom with super kingsize bed and a smaller third bedroom with a double bed and desk. The master bedroom has newly built bespoke cupboards and a smart en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and charcoal-coloured concrete sink by Josef, again with underfloor heating.

Roof terrace (in use from Spring to late Autumn)

Through a bespoke glass entrance lies a generous terrace with far-reaching uninterrupted views across the rooftops beyond. A wonderfully private and secluded space, the terrace has a built-in kitchen area equipped with a sink, outside fridge and a mains gas BBQ, perfect for entertaining or alfresco dining. It sits alongside a seating area painted a vivid pink, in contrast to the newly laid decking stained with Osmo Oil. The house is one of the few on the street to have a demised terrace.

High speed broadband internet/Wi-Fi with a 3 port mesh system to cover the whole house, ensures you stay connected throughout your trip – great news for our business travellers.

Located in the heart of Barnsbury, this property is just a short walk from a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes. With excellent transport links to the rest of London, this townhouse is the perfect base for exploring all that this vibrant city has to offer. Too many floors

The first day we got there we had to text for toilet paper, paper towels, a dirty bed and kitchen towels. There was only one large towel for bath per person for 4 days. We noticed a leaking toilet that was leaking into the living room. 3 of our 5 are in our 70’s and the stairs were a bit too much.

Great location from which to explore the city and cheer Arsenal!

The home is narrow and TALL. Kitchen on the bottom, then living, bed/bath, bed/bath, outdoor patio…so 5 levels. This was great for giving a family with teens some separation and personal space. There were some water/drain issues, but host quickly sent over drain cleaner and a bottle of wine for our trouble. Stair flooring a bit worn, but I would Would definitely stay there again.

Great Flat for London

Beautiful property, comfortable beds, Nice neighborhood, with good restaurants, pubs, grocery. 10 minute walk to the Tube line, easy to get to Central London but it took longer about 30 - 45 minutes. Street traffic was a bit noisy. Overall, great London Flat!!

Great location but house needs work

Great location in Islington with restaurants, pubs, transport and shops within easy walking distance. Super comfy beds. However kitchen sink is black/damaged inside and needs replacing. Requested additional pillows (2 each instead of one each) and was asked to pay for these although they were subsequently provided FOC. Dishwasher urgently needs servicing. Not enough seats for six adults and no dryer (no outdoor drying space). Rooftop space is great addition but tired and neglected.

Excellent!

This property was clean, had everything we needed and was very close to the tube and buses. There were some great pubs nearby and we really enjoyed the neighbourhood. It was really nice having the terrace on the roof. We would highly recommend this property.

Lovely stay in Islington

For our spring break trip to London, we thought it would be nice to stay a little further away from the tourist areas and in a real neighborhood, and this property fit the bill! It was really lovely, and was in easy walking distance to several tube stops and necessities (a supermarket, restaurants and shops). We also enjoyed walking to the Arsenal Stadium for a tour! Then it was easy to get Ubers when we wanted to head to the theaters or other activities. The property itself was lovely. They were doing a lot of construction in the townhouse next to it, but that really didn't impact our stay much. All of the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were very updated. The second bedroom on the top floor does seem to be a bit of an afterthought and overall the place could use more towels, but we were able to make due. We also really enjoyed the kitchen and cooked our breakfast most days. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property, especially for families who are looking to stay in more of a real neighborhood area.

Highly recommend!

Such a lovely flat - exactly as represented by the photos. Islington is a perfect location if you want a neighborhood feel that is still close to central London. There are numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance, and the tube is just a 10 minute walk in either direction. Host was easy to work with and check in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Great details and excellent location

The pictures really tell the story: a lovely renovated townhouse (4 levels, 5 if you count the roof deck, so get your stair workout in!). Well located in Islington with fab restaurants and good transit connections. We really appreciated the abundant coffee supplies and how cozy the place was during a sudden change in the weather. Harry checked in on us and was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend.

Lovely flat

Place is awesome! Fully equipped top to bottom. The kitchen has everything you need and more. It was such a big help to find a bag of fine pasta and sauce after a long travel. The rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. The rooftop has a balcony that we enjoyed a lot. Harry was very accommodating with everything. We were hot and ask for fans and literally 3 hours later Harry was at the front door with two brand new fans. He was very fast to respond to any question or need. The street is very safe and quiet. About two blocks away there’s a beautiful street full of restaurants shops, boutiques and a nice little park, gas station, and a supermarket that is open till 11. It is very accessible to the underground public transportation, overall perfect place for a London vacation. I would definitely come again.
