The Neighborhood:
Unusually for somewhere so central, Paddington has managed to avoid becoming a tourist hub in the way of Marble Arch and Oxford Street.

There are still quiet streets to be found, independent cafes and even the two-month-long annual Paddington Festival to celebrate the area. What else? For world-class shopping and European cafe culture, Oxford Street and Marylebone are only a short distance away, while if you’re looking to get away from big-city, the canal (2 minutes from property) is the perfect place for a weekend walk, al fresco lunch, amazing brunch spots, bakeries and wine bars or even a leisurely tour from one of the many canal boat operators, and there’s always Hyde Park too.

The apartments location is perfect, a 20 minute walk to Notting hill, 30 mins to portobello road.

Getting Around:
I am a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station (Bakerloo, Hammersmith & City, Circle and District Line) as well as mainline trains to the West of the country (Bath, Bristol, Exeter).
A 15 minute walk gets you to Lancaster gate for the Central Line (straight across town to Liverpool Street/the City)

You can't get much more central than where I am. Couple of details of times to places below:

- Oxford Street (20 minute walk)
- Notting Hill/Westbourne Grove (15 minute walk)

Perfect location and apartments

Everything was perfect starting from check-in, location, how apartments looked inside. Highly recommend if you are planning a trip to London, especially as a group. Thanks host again for making the stay perfect,

We were totally mislead.

The apartment was dirty, not available at the time it was supposed to be, I was screamed at by the man in the store when I went to pick up the keys, the cleaning lady was using an old broom not even a vacuum and in the smaller guest rooms there is no way two adult Americans could fit comfortably. We left the keys with the concierge and have opened a dispute with Houst/VRBO to get our money back since the apartment was not as advertised. We didn’t stay there at all.
