"The best thing about Hotel Eleo was its staff. The bed wasn't so bad either. But the worst thing was that horrible Nespresso coffee maker. When first booking the room and seeing the amenities, I ordered my favorite coffee in a Nespresso pod to use. Terrible. Foamy and bitter - no matter which brand of coffee used. Great location to restaurants walking less then 1 block: Harry's, Dragonfly, OAK, BBQ chicken, Pizza place, Starbucks, ice cream shop. No parking but we knew this so ubbered everywhere. Nice pool, great staff, friendly and quick to respond to needs. So my advice is dont stay here on the weekend unless you stay up partying until 2am and ubber, dont rent a car. "Check-in was quick and easy, with close-in self-parking and a more than adequate number of good, large luggage carts. We had a bit of a panic soon after moving in, as the shower valve broke and we had no shower. The staff and manager were very helpful in promptly letting us into an unused room down the hall to use the shower. Our shower was then promptly fixed the next day. "The property needs updating. Saw a lot of workers staying there. Very small breakfast, toast, yogurt, waffles. Shower water got just warm enough to not have a cold shower. Room had a bit of a smell. Some black mold on shower roof. TV had a bit of something going on with it. However, bed was comfortable, room was pretty clean and for the area, it was one of the least expensive. Would not stay there again."
