"I had a wonderful experience staying at the Withlacoochee River Bird House! The location right on the river and the property was exceptional. The house was unique with its decor and had a lot of charisma and character. Very thoughtful touches to welcome guests. My pup loved it and didn’t want to leave! "Easy check in. The house was very large and it was just two of us. If there was a big family, this would be great. It was clean, comfortable and modern.The house was on a large pond that lead to the river. It wasn’t directly on the river nut accessible by kayak. Two decks on the pond where we spotted a large alligator sunning himself. No swimming here!All in all, we would stay here again. Only suggestion is maybe some more outside furniture as it is nice to utilize the decks."

"We stayed in the Pond House Friday and Saturday night for the FL/FSU game. We had three adult couples and two college students. The house was the perfect size for us, plenty of room. We grilled out Friday and Saturday night, grille was great, kitchen is excellent, fully equipped. Check in and check out was easy and communication with the host was seamless. Weather was cold so we used both the gas and the real wood firepits. Brought our own wood. Great backyard and pond. I highly recommend this...

"Thank you to Jennifer and Mike for lending us their beautiful river home for the weekend. Extremely well-kept and abundant with beautiful views, wildlife, and activities. The hosts were so accommodating and easy to reach whenever needed. They also left really helpful tips and reminders all around the house that served us very well.
