"Our stay was overshadowed by the host sending us a series of unpleasant and increasingly threatening messages. We were travelling up from Nottingham because we had a funeral the following day. When we got there we had some elderly family members visit us at around 7pm in the evening. We had booked the property for 3 adults and 1 child, as stated in the booking, and there was never any intention for additional guests to stay. "While the place is well located and the staff are lovely, this is really a 3 star hotel. It was clean, but some aspects of the room were not “4-star” quality (scuff marks on wall, quality of the bed and sheets, etc). As other reviews have mentioned, you can feel the coils in the mattresses which can be uncomfortable. Having a kitchen + washer/dryer was very helpful for us and a big reason we booked here. Coming from a “true” 4 star aparthotel in London, this property was a little...

"I stayed at Premier Suites Edinburgh Fountain Court with my wife for a one-week stay in early October 2026. The hotel is located within walking distance of some of the most popular sites in Edinburgh. However, it's also tucked away so you can enjoy some quiet and privacy during your stay in the city. The apartments have a wealth of amenities including a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge, stove, oven, and microwave, and the hotel provides instructions on how to operate each of them. This was...

"The property worked for our family of 5 stay; however, property does not have AC which would be important in the summer. Additionally, sleeping 5 meant sharing spaces as there is only a large great room / kitchen and the master bedroom with master bath. If you need a laundry you’ll have to reserve somewhere else. "Great location near the city center & close to Waverley Station. Check-in was a little bit awkward with the non-link in the email; challenging if wifi isn't working the day of, but very good communication with the staff overall. The apartment was bigger & more luxe than I anticipated, which made it a true pleasure to be there! Quiet at night in a higher floor garden apt, even being on a pretty busy road, but the whole property seemed relatively quiet in mid-October. Thanks for a wonderful stay!"
