If you are driving yourself you will need 4 wheel drive as the driveway is steep and a bit rocky. Romey will work with you to get you a ride if you need one at a fair price. "It all has a new feeling to it—you walk in and it’s very airy and clean. Huge windows, lots of light and air. The bathroom is bright with a great shower. The rental is just outside the busier Monteverde. So everything is walkable while being very peaceful and safe. The brewery is very very close. "A special place - beautiful and in a beautiful setting. The property managers also thought of all the little things, and the welcome pack (some food starters, etc.) was a really thoughtful touch, given the place is a bit away from the action in Santa Elena. We really enjoyed our stay."

"The place is perfectly located, beautiful mountains view with an incredible sunset watching point. It has a great proximity to Santa Elena, Monteverde and all attractions around. Communication with the host is very smooth. Yaloco Chalet is semi-glamping accomodation though (tent door in the main bedroom), it is a bit challenging to rest when you have a light sleep - quite noisy with wind and/ or rain. Other than that it was a nice 2-nights' stay."
