"The clerks were very welcoming and pleasant. Check in was done with a smile comfortably sitting outside on the balcony with a drink. The room assigned to this old guest had a beautiful bathroom but the tub was not practical for me. I was immediately transferred to an equally beautiful room with a balcony with a splendid view of the mountain range AND a very nice walk-in shower. I loved the friendliness and the majestic mountains. Chandolin boutique hotel exceeded my expectations."

"Perfect stay. Room was clean, spotless, functional and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - everything was tasty and prepared fresh in small batches. Staff throughout our stay was warm and friendly. We were especially impressed by our restaurant staff from Croatia - he was unfazed despite a full restaurant, gave great and thoughtful service to every table and was really polite and professional. Restaurant served delicious dinners too. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"A hidden gem tucked away in a sweet little Swiss French village. These waters are incredibly healing and the staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The location is wonderful, between two mountains and there are saunas, hammans, jacuzzis, massage jets and so much more. I loved my stay at the hotel and it was quiet and serene. The only downside was at the buffet as I have a shellfish allergy and I don’t read French, but that’s more on me than them. Easy train ride from almost...

"Perfect & always timely service (great personell who does make the difference - thanks for having us!), friendly service, totally relaxed atmosphere, quiet place to chill with a great spa and with a really nice & quite fancy restaurant (Leonard's). Great food but not cheap. Walking distance (3-4' or so) to the heart of Gstaad and to the train station. Not much more you can ask for ;-)"

"Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather...
