Hocking Hills offers renown and exhilarating outdoor adventures, many of which are conveniently located within a 10-15 minute drive for the property.

Max of 2 pets per stay. Each pet is $75.

You will immediately fall in love with this sprawling, private, heavily-wooded, 40-acre estate featuring a large spring-fed stocked pond and some of the highest elevations in Hocking County. Inside, your cozy, well-equipped Chalet will accommodate up to 10 guests with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, large, open kitchen, upper-level loft, and finished lower level featuring a rec room with billiards and entertainment area. Must be 25 years or older to rent.

A great experience all around. Loved the peaceful setting, ease to get to the property, and amenities that were provided.

Overall a nice property, we enjoyed the covered porch and living room space since it rained a majority of our visit. Loved the vibe and very secluded location while still being near enough to town and trails. Property was clean but all the cooking pots and pans were old and had the teflon peeling off as a health hazard. The firepit space was nice but I wish there had been lights because it got super dark out there and hard to see! I wish prior to booking the owner mentioned extra fees and stringent rules on having dogs. It says pet friendly but they actually only allow 2 dogs so we had to come up with accommodations for our friends who came in.

It rained all day every day we were, but the secluded property was so peaceful, the pond provided a perfect setting, and the covered outdoor seating on the upper deck was perfect.

Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotless everything was. The cabin had everything we could possibly need, down to the tea tree spa-style toiletries, which were such a nice touch. The hot tub was clean and so relaxing, and the patios were the perfect spot to sit back, unwind, and take in the beautiful view of the pond, where the kids spent hours playing and fishing.It was also truly pet-friendly, which can be hard to find! Our two dogs had an absolute blast exploring, and it was such a relief to stay somewhere that was genuinely family-friendly where we could actually relax and enjoy our time together. Though our stay was short, it far exceeded our expectations. We fished, played pool, enjoyed cozy nights by the fire, and truly made the best memories. This place is a hidden gem, and we will definitely be back!

I spent days looking at hundreds of cabins in the area, there are so many to choose from. But I think I picked the most perfect of all! The cabin (luxury cabin) was beautiful and had the perfect woodsy vibe. The location was great to travel to all the area attractions. And the private location was wonderful. Just the best cabin in all of Hocking Hills!

Cabin was awesome inside & out. The Area around there was awesome Pond was great. Nice quiet relaxing weekend to celebrate our daughters 30th & 26th Birthdays snuggled up in the woods Thank you so much.!!! Will be back

Overall this house was a great place to stay. It’s perfectly secluded in the woods…but not too far in the woods :) I’m sure in fall it is absolutely stunning! The only reason I gave this place 4/5 stars and not all five is because: * there were no fitted sheets on the bed just a flat sheet tucked in like a fitted sheet and also there were no mattress protectors on the mattresses which I feel is pretty necessary for sanitary reasons. * there were extra pillows to use but no extra pillow cases to place on them *also at most rental houses we have stayed at they have provided a little welcome basket of sorts with a couple essentials and also may have like little extras (foil/food storage containers/coffee/small bundle of wood(no having to be purchased)/propane (not having to be purchased)/etc). Those few things, in my eyes, set rental houses apart from others.

This was the ideal home to spend time with family. The house was spacious and clean. It was perfectly nestled in a forest of beautiful trees making the experience even more enjoyable. This cabin is very clean and stunning. Loved the wooded setting with the pond. Make sure you bring seasonings and all condiments, which I am sure covid has changed what can be provided. We found a mattress which was used in the loft instead of four people sleeping in the bunk bedroom. That would be a nice area to add a bed. Overall, we loved our stay at the cabin and would highly recommend staying there to hike at Hocking Hills.

even though the weather was uncooperative! Cabin was cozy and we felt at home away from “home.” Cabin was clean and the layout accommodated all three families. Would like to return during warmer and drier weather to appreciate what the surroundings have to offer. Definitely would recommend!

Terrible experience. Place is called Scenic Solitude. Well it Scenic but anything but Solitude. Within 15 minutes of arriving the people across the street starting shooting assault weapons. Not 22 these were SUPER LOUD high caliper weapons. This went on non stop from 5 until 7. This was just the warm up for Saturday. In the early afternoon after returning from hiking we saw 2 individuals across the street with military rifles. About 3 o’clock the shooting starting. Again Super loud round after round. Our dogs were terrified shaking and panting. This went on for FOUR hours. No one felt safe leaving the house. After several hours my son and daughter in law just left!! We yelled at the people to please stop. But to no avail. The shooting continued for 4 hours. It was insane. We felt like we were in war zone. As a gun owner I can appreciate doing some plinking. This was ridiculous. As the person who booked the place I could not ask the others for money as it was horrible experience. In unbelievable that a place advertised as Solitude and a getaway was ANYTHING but. We deserve a refund. And you should tell people there Assault Weapon range directly across The street. You should make people aware.
