"We were so surprised when we rolled up on this property. It was well maintained & beautifully landscaped. The cottage was decorated with a colorful flair. The bathroom was roomy & had a big shower. The porch looked out over the property facing the ocean & great sunrises. We stayed 4 nights & were genuinely sad to leave. After 10 days traveling, this was the perfect place to relax"

"We booked through Expedia and booked an “Oceanfront” room. When we arrived we got checked and noticed our room was partial ocean view and located on the 2nd floor right above the bar and by the pool (where every night we heard screaming kids and people at the bar at 3am. "I understand this was an eco lodge. However, there is no air and little cross breeze. Our bed was broken, there were not enough towels (only 3 for 5 people), we were encouraged to shower by turning the water off while we used soap, the pots and pans were so dirty that some could not be cleaned. The worst was that the staff was unprofessional. They did not communicate effectively, they were dismissive about simple requests (like "how to check in") and once we did check in we NEVER heard from...

"The location and view are the highlights of the property. Those are 5 stars. The state of the property is quite worn: contractor-grade bathroom door, rough towels, questionable ac unit. Service was lacking: I called down for extra towels, told I’d get some, then hours later, nothing. I ran into a housekeeping staff on the floor as I was going to go in person to get some, who said he never got the message. The breakfast, while an extraordinary view, was very, very poor. "I couldn’t watch the tv the first night till I pull out the plug then it worked I was in #9 my brother was in #1 his air conditioning didn’t work at all blowing hot air for 2 nights when I got in my room the first day I step on a Roach in the bathroom lucky I had a slipper on. "We had the ocean view room on the second floor. It was newly renovated, with a beautiful private bathroom and beautiful wood work throughout. We were a bit spoiled when we were there, since there were no other guests on our floor during our stay. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well equipped, and Josh was always there to help us if we needed it. We would definitely stay here in the future"
